Losing is part of the genre, dipshit. You lose, you get motivated to get better, you -get- better via playing the game, and then comes the satisfaction of looking back and seeing how far you've grown.

Too many of you people who are new to fighting games want to be godlike or amazing from the get-go. That's not how it happens. There's an arc to your development, just as there is with a great many deal of things.

I know that feeling; we've all felt it and a lot of us STILL feel it even as vets to the genre. But it's necessary to get over that shit and just play the game.

Not necessarily. You can learn good fundamentals with any character if you're driven enough.

That being said however, Jack's playstyle relies heavily on solid fundamental play, so you'll probably learn/develop your fundamentals faster than if you used someone like Xiaoyu..

He's so good but even when I poke I feel like i'm barely chipping them down then they pull a combo for half my HP.

I just want to get out of 2nd/3rd dan, I get there then instantly start getting backed down to 1st then rinse repeat and it's frustrating. I did better in SFV in ranked than this.
