I unironically like the Sophons

I haven't played as them yet though, their seem sort of boring

their quest is pretty fun, but overall they're way less unique than stuff like riftborn and vodyani simply because they're intended to be one of the factions beginners can play and not feel overwhelmed which doesn't actually work out too well since sophons have terrible industry in their starting system, leading to a very rough start
