Trying my hand at a mod for R:TW. I want to do the inevitable roman civil war campaign and I'm trying to figure out which house should start with what territory.
Julii gets Gaul and northern spain and nothern italy. Brutii gets Greece, Illyria and minor asia.
Scipii gets Sicily, Sardinia, northa Africa and southern spain.
Right now I'm thinking about who's getting Jerusalem. Brutii or Scipii?

Reminds me of something I like about TWW. Despite the diversity of factions CA at least didn't make any special units for unplayable factions. Imagine if Kislev did have bear cavalry but were unplayable. M1 and R1 were really frustrating in that regard. And they had Jews in M1 but you couldn't play as Jews or pagans.

I've played TWW with vanilla sieges until recently, when I switched to the GCCM mod. I think the mod is overall better but I've had fun with vanilla sieges. They could absolutely be improved but I don't see why people get so worked up over them.

I use mods, so that has rarely been an issue.
