theres no true quality build like the 40/40 of ds1, but most people here go something like 45/15/50/25/6/7, which means you can use every physical weapon effectively with the right gems, or swap the str and skl around to 25/50 for a few more powerful weapons and less variety, but with easier gems to farm and higher visceral damage

98 is best for everything. Over-leveling forever accomplishes nothing because you will just be downscaled to the hosts level anyway if you are out of their range. That usually leaves you weaker than if you were actually in their range naturally.
