You can't fix front-heavy though, you can just dial out some of the understeer.
Drove one with a 300hp C20LET, and factory rear drums. Point in a straight line, brace for torque steer, floor it, expect wheelspin all the way through third, and then try and wipe the maniacal grin off your face. jesus that thing was fun.

Too bad you could only get it with a Renaulshit 2.0 n/a (110hp) or 1.7T (120hp).

They really deserve a nice 200+ hp T5 swap.

Interestingly the 2.0 was a Renault F3R, and its family members include the F7R (Clio Williams engine) and F4R/F4RT (Clio/Megane RS engine). Might be an interesting swap with very little fabrication involved.
