For the guy who was thinking of practicing Orisa last thread, yeah Orisa kinda sucks and needs help but like people were saying she can do things. The ultimate bongo can give you that edge on attack or defense, if timed right. It's like a slightly more braindead Nanoboost in exchange for requiring the team to be anchored to it. Most of her skill ceiling is going to be in knowing how to time her kit. Like I've had good results with her on something like 3v3 Necropolis where she can lay down large amounts of suppressive fire while your guy reloads/flanks, pull people off the side or out of cover with the gravity ball, and let you advance or retreat behind the barriers.

As was said before she's basically support. If your team is pushing, she lays down the backup barrier, provides additional fire support, keeps the enemy from retreating letting you get that key pick, and powers everybody up to ensure that vital push. She is literally an extra layer of security on top of your current momentum. The problem is that she's 100% inflexible.

If you're successfully defending/pushing she is shitting out barriers and the enemy won't be able to break through. But let's say they dive you. Then your 8 second cooldown, immobile barrier is useless.
If you're successfully pushing or defending, Fortify means they can't CC to stop you. But let's say you're being pushed. It buys you 1 second and then you die anyway.
If your team is already winning the firefight her 150 ammo gun will clinch it. But if your team is losing then it's too slow, inaccurate, and weak to save anyone including herself.

New hero next month and we know it's not a defense hero so maybe it'll be another support

Sombra can work if your team is conscious and they use a well timed EMP to push enemy's shit in. Her damage is trash but she can help wither down enemy healers and squishier shits while they're too busy dealing with someone actually threatening. Her whole gimmick is basically being annoying and non-threatening so much she actually does a stack underflow and becomes highest threat in the team due to just plain being ignored in favor of killing enemy mercy/76/whatever.

Not him but I find that Orisa works best at attack payload maps, take two people from your team preferrable a dps and a healer and be the forward push to suppress the enemy team while the rest of your team just sits on the payload. I've done this a lot of times but it doesn't work when the enemy has a Pharah, or literally anything that counters Orisa.

I always feel that her ulti is loading very fast so i use it instantly when im around objective and my teammates are near.
Range of her ulti is insane and it always help, i dont feel like i have to combo it with gengu, pharah or soldier.

you dont play her as a real character, you play her as a disposable ult, she gets emp up every fight with health pack healing and once she ults anything she does from that forward is gravy, it doesnt matter how low her damage is or how easy she is to fuck over if she doesnt have locator down, having a teamwide ability silence that charges faster than pulse bomb is the only thing that matters

It charges reasonably fast and is underrated. I think people underrate it because it doesn't look very sexy but it is definitely strong.

Legit I think it's because no guys played Mercy or at least only low test ones did. They don't have the balls to play semi-aggressively. I honestly think just getting above 1000 damage on her is a cut-off for mediocrity. Also land those crits, pretty sure the game keeps track of those.

Kills, always kills. Especially if you have a Pharah on your team. Pharah will probably get gold damage but you should take opportunities she creates.

I found a stack to play with completely by chance and the fucking difference between playing solo and in a stack is not even funny. Team of 6 conscious people who switch when necessary, don't have inflated egos and are teamplayers is unstoppable. The only thing that can make you lose at that point is a team with better composition and overall better coordination.

Evie plays a lot different than Mei, only their ults and self-heal ice cube are similar. She's more similar to Pharah in damage and mobility.

user, sorry but that simply isn't true. the hook was a skill the time traveling reinheart ripoff had for a while, as you can see in the video. This was before roadhog was even revealed. The shield came from another character as well (paladins.gamepedia.com/Grohk#Replaced_skills) and his ult was the basic weapon of a character that was reworked (paladins.gamepedia.com/Grover#Replaced_skills). The weapon on the other had works nothing like hog's shotgun: it's a cannon that lobs one projectile, kinda like a grenade launcher but it neither bounces nor explodes (because cannonballs never did that).

popular =/= good. Reddit is proof enough of this, and I shouldn't need to elaborate on it further. Most people will disregard the superior gameplay and blow 60 dollars on a subpag game just to be with the "cool kids".

Like your shots are fired slower (for projectile), your actions perform slower (like your melee taking forever to come out after you pressed it), and yet the fucking input lag panel shows that everything is normal.
