All of the engineers were copped by some government agency. The company tried to continue having them built in Finland but they weren't making enough money to keep them in production. And yeah I think it looks pretty cool, I would buy one if I were rich just to have as a collector's item.

volga v8 coupe maybe, but I wouldn't buy a sports car or sedan from a Russian manufacturer. They make decent trucks and the best 4x4s though, I think barely anything has changed on the UAZ hunter, it's like a HZJ or a Defender in terms of toughness and simplicity
