Absolutely. It didn't hurt that GDL was on point with his voice.

I guess that's just how it panned out? Cullen and Solas were last-minute additions, Varric was a no-go due to Bianca getting involved, and Gaider was VERY against a Cole romance, so that would've just left Bull for straight women.

I don't hate Morrigan, but I prefer Leliana over her. I guess people like her because of her voice, snark, more connected to the plot and she is one of the characters you are forced to recruit at the beginning.

Most people don't even know Leliana exists in the game..

I actually think Morrigan's character progression throughout the story is pretty good. She can still be rude and abrasive, but I think she's a lot less bound up in herself later on.

You recruit Leliana in Dane's Refuge. It is an easy to miss tavern in Lothering, and you cannot return there later. Plus by the time you recruit Leliana, you already have a full party. I think many people missed Leliana in their first playthroughs.

I got Inquisition for the PS4, never played a DA before - any tips/things I should look out before I dive in?

In all seriousness, there's a LOT of lore that you might not understand at first, but the codices in game ought to give you some idea of what the world is like. There's tons of wandering around in this particular one, but I find that can be very comfy on rainy days.

It's not necessary to spend several hours in the Hinterlands at first, if you can go Val Royeaux, do it. You're able to recruit more companions and do more missions afterwards.

Don't me an idiot like me and check that the Mage Skill trees cover debuffs as well, not only different type of offensive attacks.

The DLC Tresspasser, set months after the main game, is absolutely necessary to play as it reveals more and sets up the next chain of events.

I wanted to make a new Patch to include a new mod, but the ModManager just crashes to the desktop. I just checked the file integrity of the game and reinstalled the MM, but it still refuses to start up. Any ideas on how to fix this?

There are black Solas and bi Solas mods, it's only fair that other characters receive the same treatment.

Speaking of racebending, the idea of black Solas is abhorrent to me. It plays straight into the noble savage trope and reduces him to a banal stereotype. In contrast, our Solas has a design that blends elegance, vulnerability and masculine beauty which fits him perfectly. I can't imagine him as a brown ape with dreads.
