Alternate between classes so you don't waste class experience. Classes level up way faster than your base level, so if you camp one class then the extra XP gets wasted. Playing 3~4 classes you like will also help you break boss BP bars too, which gives better drops.

I use Slash, Pierce and Strike classes the most, but the other ones are nice too.

There's no reward or reason to play in parties unless you're playing with friends or 'soloing' (selling) raid. DFO is pretty much a single-player game.
