OFFICIAL FRIDAY NIGHT THREAD

getting over a sickness, still tired as shit. no meets that are worth going to. going to redo my power steering lines and hope I don't have a leak elsewhere

I tried to drive so fast that my sadness couldn't catch up. FWD not fast enough to outrun those feels.

>Why are you sat at home alone on a friday night?
Not at home and not alone

>Why aren't you out at the meets with your bros or >gf?
Hanging with some bros from /ovg/ watching F1 quali and shitposting.

>What are your car related plans for the weekend?
Watching people with more money and skill than I drive fast cars REALLY fast for 10 hours.

Cool, I've been in the AF for about 5 years and the only time I had to share a room was in Tech School.

Whats your AFSC that requires 8 months of training?

I work weekends. At least I can cruise on the freeway after work at 2am...

>Why are you sat at home alone on a friday night?
Actually just got home from a date with my hot girlfriend, her hot sister, and her hot sister's friend. it's like 11:30pm my time. Sunday I'm going do very naughty things to that cute girl all night.

>Why aren't you out at the meets with your bros or >gf?
I don't know what this means, I actually am new to the board and come from /k/ and /g/ (both professionally, respectively)

>What are your car related plans for the weekend?
Diagnosing and fixing Code P0171 - System Too Lean code on my 2003 Mazda B2300 pickup. (pic related.) This code popped after having my oil changed by some retarded 18yo retard kids. After inspecting the vehicle and reading the owner's manual I have been troubleshooting as such:

>oil & oil filter changed
>check engine light came on
>P0171
>cleaned MAF sensor
>tightened down air intake clamp dumb kids left totally loose @ oil change
>re-seated air filter
>added lucas complete engine treatment to gas
>added half bottle of stp oil treatment
>cleared code p0171
>code came back two days later
>noticed old-ass gas cap is fucked, probably not holding a seal, or pressure
>read owner's manual online
>read that faulty gas caps can actually throw a check engine light!
>gonna go in the morning and get a new gas cap
>will clear the code after and see what up

I really love this truck, just bought it for $2300 and it is in great condition. It is all American Ford under the hood. Previously owned by a mechanic. We struck a nice deal and traded business cards. This is my first truck, first stick shift, and It's just super comfy.

>2.3 liter
>5 speed
>4 cylinder
>absolute pleasure to drive
>great blue-grey sparkly paint color
>very clean interior
>engine sounds so very good, a pleasure to listen to
>well taken care of @ just under 200k miles
>great for where I live, as an every day driver / work truck
>more than adequate for light excursions into the desert for small game hunting / plinking

I don't have friends. But I'll put adjustable camber arms on me car tomorrow.

why not man? make friends. its easy

No, it’s not you faggot

Protip: Check the PCV valve, it's probably stuck open with gunk.
