It's quite fun, even if there's loads of technical issues, but I can't drop it. I keep coming back for more.
Right now I'm grinding my duplicate characters. It seems like evolving one tier to the other is a bad idea as the ones you get naturally are better than the evolved ones. That and evolving my A-Team from Bronze to Silver leaves me without an A-Team for the Bronze Prize Fights.

Just like with fighting games, not everyone has the same tastes. So I'm glad the Mobile game can appeal to some people that weren't interested or hadn't warmed up to playing SG proper. As long as Hidden Variables does right by their players and listens to their feedback, it's all good.
And who knows, maybe some of these new fans will come to support the scene in other ways.

Interesting thing I noticed. Seems like the IGG InDemand being closed for Indivisible was more than just a timing thing. You actually can't find the campaign listed on the site when you search for it. You can't find Skullgirls with a direct search either, but it does sneak into certain categories. You also don't see the Meridian Rooftops image on the IGG homepage anymore.

It's kinda too bad, because LZ's campaigns showed some of the perks of the site. The extension option, lower fees, and fewer last-minute failed transactions definitely played a big part in getting SG & Indiv funded.
IGG must have really over-promised their support on Indiv though, and so the cold shoulder they gave LZ when the campaign wasn't a breakaway success left a scar. Roll that on top of the site's other problems and I can understand why Peter would want to move away from them.
Seems like 505 is at least helping a little bit in the marketing area. The booth at E3 was entirely their thing, and they'll probably try to push the game a little harder next year like they did for Bloodstained.

I got bored quickly. grinding is a pain in the ass and as far as I can see its gonna be pve. The fact that each card has its own pool of energy means having to constantly switch up teams to train and redoing the same levels give pathetic amounts of exp.

Why? IGG tried to help as much as they can. They gave an extension, said it's their biggest video game funded project for SG, etc.
