user, sorry but that simply isn't true. the hook was a skill the time traveling reinheart "ripoff" had for a while, as you can see in the video here imgur.com/l5og7TE. This was before roadhog was even revealed. The shield came from another character as well (paladins.gamepedia.com/Grohk#Replaced_skills) and his ult was the basic weapon of a character that was reworked (paladins.gamepedia.com/Grover#Replaced_skills). The weapon on the other had works nothing like hog's shotgun: it's a cannon that lobs one projectile, kinda like a grenade launcher but it neither bounces nor explodes.
