NRS doesn't understand sound. All other fighting games started off in the arcade where good, catchy, appealing sound design was important to get people to move towards them. The same with poppy visuals.
Even tekken with its "realistic" art style maintains a bit of a cartoonish overtone.
NRS never understood this with its dark edgy vibe which is why its arcade cabinets only sold to shops because they were cheap.
The most iconic music from MK is from a movie, not even the game.

here's a thought: you guys are basically yelling at each other over support of sf5, when in reality all the extra entrants were just extra pot monsters mainly there to play sf5, when it turned out that most people don't feel that hot about it it affected the size of ALL games, because as much as you people hate to admit it, the capcom community props up every community, it's not that these people forget to support other games, it's that they always support other games, but when what they care about isn't worth attending everyone suffers
