I came across the 2015 trailer for 7 today. I was really surprised by how shit it is.

Yeah, I didn't truly get hype for this game until later trailers. The reveal trailer from December 2015 seems really half-baked in comparison. Listen to the voice acting - it's so stilted and awkward and generally poor-quality.

Fortunately, the gameplay we've seen and later trailers seem much more like what we know and love. The dialogue in the E3 demo is great and took me right back to the PS2 days. So I'm thinking that first trailer was made by a marketing team rather than by Project ACES themselves.

yeah, the pilot banter was pretty top notch, and it sounds like the guy who voiced the scarf dude from infinity is back, which is nice since I liked his voice.

Has anyone played Infinity recently? How is the anniversary campaign going?

Yeah, me and a couple other guys played a good bit. The campaign ended, and it was actually decent, there were a fair amount of high-level raids, and credits were fairly abundant. The campaign ended though, so back to the normal grindfest.

Wait, I just thought of something. What effect will clouds have on all these laser weapons we've been seeing? I'm not a laser scientist, but I'm pretty sure lasers do poorly in atmospheric conditions with high moisture content. Do you guys think PA will do anything with this, maybe have clouds reduce or even stop range/damage from lasers? Will we have a mission where we need to hop from cloud to cloud to avoid being hit?
