I have the skill to make a 3d car, you the people have the imagination and creativity to create a great design. Why not put the two together?
>First 5-10 dubs will decide the body shape of the car (i.e 4 out 10 decided for a coupe, but the rest got 1 or 2 votes... so the coupe is chosen) If this isn't a good enough system then I will make a strawpoll.
Body styles of choice: >Coupé >Saloon (sedan) >Estate (wagon) >Shootingbrake >Hatchback >Ute no convertibles doe
After the decision is made, next voting will be made for the decade of the car (just for styling cues):
>1960s/70s >1980s >1990s >2000s >2010s
Then it will be down to the suggestions from the masses, i.e. suggestions for certain body parts (headlamps, taillights, grilles, etc.).
3 door coupe with enough room to fit people in the back, but with contemporary edgy body styling BUT with low beltlines and small A pillars. FR layout, but leave enough space up front for 4WD.
Colton Jenkins
Since the vote was almost unanimously favouring the coupé, it's time to vote for the decade of the people's car of Veeky Forums. strawpoll.me/14126585
what about something with a powerful N/A engine, i know turbos are nice and all but if we have an agressive cam profile (constant vtec basically) we can give it some good power, i know gas mileage will be fucked by this but does Veeky Forums really give a fuck

Manual brown rotary diesel Miata wagon

Now the size of the car and let's try and get it done quickly because I don't have a lot of time today. I want to make a rough simple version today. Then, over the weekend, let the suggestions come in and then next week start modelling for real. strawpoll.me/14127508
Anthony Flores
Here is a simple model to get some ideas rolling It was based on >mid-size >80s >rear-mid engine
Sure, these perimeters might change over time, but this is purely for spit balling purposes. You can draw on them to show what styling cues you want implemented.

Very odd request, but think you can model a 1997-1999 Toyota Camry? I tried modeling one myself in 3ds max, but modeling smooth edges was a bitch. I have the blueprints for the car if you need. I myself am now working on modeling a 1995 Chevrolet Astro
Jackson Williams
Sorry, next real car I am going to model is an e46 saloon.

Make something like a new-age SW20. It should have a 2 litre turbo making around 270-280 bhp, and be under 1400kg.
