I don't know what Stygian's like now that the DLC's hit, but when I beat it before it wasn't that much harder than the normal game until Champion-level dungeons. You just need to be a little more careful with your heroes than normal.

Those trinkets are apparently part of a set. The stats below the flavor text is only applied if you have both set items equipped.

I'm really starting to like the Occultist, Graverobber, Abom, Man-at-Arms combo. Did really well on my first real run with that combo. Kept health stable, nobody got near stress ceiling. Breddy gud

it can drop from regular enemies outside the courtyard, but it seems to be extremely rare. I got one from a group of pigmen out of 3-4 missions.

All my areas are at 2-3, will I just not get short apprentice missions from here on out? Is there any way to get them to come back?

i might be wrong here, but i believe that missions appear more based on the levels of your heroes rather than the level of the dungeon.

You will always get apprentice dungeons as long as you have apprentices.
