If you're gonna do anything in the middle east you should work out some kinda solution for syria/iraq/leb/etc and their flags, they start with those modern looking nationalist tricolors which isn't fit for anything before like 1900 so it's weird if they get released early on (granted that probably would be very unlikely without the player going to war with ottomans or egypt to free them) or if the player wants to release and play as them, the flags are way out of the era.

And I mean shit not only that but the borders of provinces in that area are bad too, those are just modern borders. I think you should have like some kind of curvy border through the desert to separate the mashriq from the peninsula and then have the modern straight lines borders in the middle of uncolonized desert and have an event that "standardizes the borders" or something that pops up given some techs that grants those uncolonized desert provinces to all the countries around it appropriately.
