Way I see it, a friend Sonoko doesn't really do much for you if you've already got one as leader, since you're trading away a unit that deals crits for a tank that buffs crits, which will probably slow you down on the whole unless you're specifically building for survivability. I imagine you would generally rather bring another Sekka.

Unless two Sonokos turns both of them into crit gods too?

I have one, but she's only 3 Flowers and level 66, compared to my soon to be 4 Flower level 90 Yuuna. Yuuna's leader skill may be a lot worse than Sonoko's, but the huge stat difference makes it worth running her instead, doesn't it?

I'm probably doing it wrong, but Karin's damage is really low, despite her being rated really well by Appmedia.

Should I be using Fuu as her support or something?

That's actually N1-5H, I've managed to 3* some of ShiUYu but I swear a few of them are basically impossible unless you level Itsuki up to level 99 and upgrade her hissatsu to 20, the boss doesn't come until the last second and has a gazillion health.

Because I wanted to try and use Yuuna's ability but I usually pair Fuu with Karin yeah.

Well it was still hard and I kept evading shit. Shinju was 1 blow away from being destroyed.

I really hope maintenance addresses some of those problems.

I think it's fine personally, ShiUYu is the final part of the game so far, it's supposed to be super hard. If it was doable at this level I'd finish it and run out of stuff to do.

She has low damage but really high attack speed, so she ends up with a really good DPS. Plus she has arguably the best leader skill in the game.

You have to consider the implications for hard and, god forbid, EXPERT MODE if normal is this hellish.

Pairings only share the HP, both characters have their own attack stat. So even if you pair her with Fuu her attack won't change.

As someone mentioned earlier, it's her DPS that's really good.
Her leader ability also theoretically increases the DPS of every color, which makes her very flexible team-wise. Her active boosts her attack speed even more, and her passive lets her spam it.

It's important to give her the right support units/fairies. Something like Takashima Yuuna or Natsume paired with an crit and attackspeed fairy are godlike. She'll attack and crit so often that you can spam her active and still gain more gauge than you can use.

If you farm E-5H boss enough there's a chance you may get Karin. I've gotten 2 that way.

Those fast cunts are often far more dangerous and powerful than the boss himself, never be afraid to use a hissatsu on them if necessary.
