Long nosed closed grill cars

I am a Dutchfag with a big love for cars with a big nose and a closed grill. I am looking worldwide for models that have this property.

I am currently a proud owner of a Ford Sierra 1987 pre-face-lifted.

Cars with the property mentioned:

- Daewoo Espero
- Ford Taurus 1991 - 1995
- Ford Sierra 1987 - 1989

Does anybody have any other idea of a car with this property?

Pref min dimensions:
=> L 4.50m
=> W 1.70

> 100 hp

Any suggestion appreciated

Ford Taurus 1992 - 1995

Daewoo Espero

I hope you guys have an idea of what I mean, 'cause I love those type cars but a size bigger would be welcome (IF existing)

Honk

Gen 3-5 civics

>Gen 3-5

Spot on about the nose-style but unforunatly this car is too small.

Honking for suggestions

R31 GTS

My daily driver is a vw passat 35i from 1990. Similar to this one, but grey. Comfy car with an insane amount of space inside.

Love it, looks like a Prelude but would like a car with a wider body.

VN group a SS

Aah yes, forgot to mention this one, also on my list, but I would like a car with a wider and longer body as my current Sierra.

Is this an Australian Opel Omega?

VK group a SS

VL group a SS

dat vl

>hnng

Oh yeah

Im liking them, added to my list thank you. Prob hard to find one near Dutchland though

Passat length: 4575 mm
width: 1705 mm

Sierra length: 4425–4522 mm
width: 1698 mm

It's not much, but the Passat is actually a little larger than the Sierra. How large exactly were you thinking?

Just a little bit faster

EDIT: the body width is unfortunatly not above my Sierra

Move to oz you will be in heaven

Saab 900

I've read Sierra is 1720mm width, but due to it being a low car it sometimes looks 'small' in traffic.

I am looking around 1800mm and above.

Although I doubt if the 7cm would make much optical difference or if I am being fooled by myself.

The only one so far matching all my desires is the Ford Taurus 1995 or that Australian Omega

Chevy Cavalier

Don't know if it meets your requirements, but the most well known and definitely the best looking is the VW Passat B3. Its even nicknamed "Neusbeer" in the Netherlands because of this feature. Also, waar woon je pik? Kom chillen broer.

This one has been sold here as the Chevy Corsica. Had almost the same rear as my Sierra has

Yes this is exactly the type I am looking for, except I'd like it to be bigger as my Sierra cause cars these days get bigger but I prefer older cars.

Drenthe rapporteert

Bump for interest

Rover SD1. You better start believing in God and praying daily for the reliability though.

Opel senator

Bodykit and lights should fit an opel senator from 1986, if you want an LHD holden VL, take that as a base

I've seen this one in real life and have fallen in love with it. It was a VandenPlas edition.

Renault 25

No, it's obviously an Opel Calibra, a sports coupe Opel built from the late 80s to mid 90s.
It's based on the Opel Vectra platform.

Pre-facelift Ford Scorpio

FIRST GEN YOU MEAN?

Bro relax, I appreciatie all help haha.

This is a Scorpio MKI pre-facelift. The MKII has frog-eyes

o shit I was eating and had my keyboard upside down so I didn't notice the caps :))

There are 2 gens. The second one looks like an American made one, although it isn't.
Facelifted ones have a slightly bigger grill and I found them inappropriate.
Just to clear things out.

This is the european MKII

Honking for more suggestions.

Taurus 1995, Rover 3500 and Renault 25 so far very nice candidates

B3 Passat

And it's already been mentioned twice, that's what I get for posting before reading the thread.

Some foxbody Thunderbirds also have the closed-nose look but they're probably hard to come by

These give me a raging boner, goddamn. Hard to obtain here though. I think even hard to obtain in America aren't they?

Yeah, people just bought Mustangs instead so they're not very common even in the US.

Was the Thunderbird a more luxery sportscar or..?

They were "personal luxury" coupes, so yeah, softer and fancier than the Mustang (which was all about performance per dollar).

they tend to be very rare, especially in decent condition. With few people who bought them along with them usually never taken care of, they are very difficult to come by.

Its sad, because its the greatest car ford has ever made

what's with /o and liking old cars? i mean understand if it's something classic but no, everything from 1990 and backwards is talked about here. is this board mentally ill because it's creepy being stuck in the past.

5 for sale in Germany after quick look, this is promising. Never knew they were delivered to Europe

Because no money

Could be imports as well, and if someone went through the trouble of importing a car it's likely they've taken decent care of it too.

They have a certain appereance that new cars miss.

For one: I like straight lines in a car, looking at new cars today not one single line is straight, making even luxory saloons having the 'egg' lines.

Here's an Eagle Vision. Not sure if the grill is closed enough for you

>half of Veeky Forums is poor
>modern cars (in general) are not as interesting for enthusiasts. Overly complicated, not designed for easy maintenance/repairs, bland driving experience
>also nostalgia

What do you think about these OP? Available in europe and actually pretty decent.

It's a beauty

I love the nose, but I honestly do not like the rest of the design. Honda is veeeery reliable though

check out the gen after that, looks way better

They must have gone through a lot of trouble just to find one to import

We have agencies that will import any US car for you. You just order one and they'll find you one.

Costs a lot though.

Depends of your definition of "closed grill" but since you posted an E39 I guess an XM could satisfy this criteria
Post facelift is a bit more open

These were sold as chrysler vision in europe, kinda rare but there should be 1 or 2 around.

Certainly comfy and wide enough

Foxbody Mustang

Literally 5 minutes in ms paint

Literally 5 minutes in ms paint, getting the bonnet painted isn't gonna be free though

Pic related would be even easier since you'd only have to make one block-off plate for the grille.

Yes but the body would still not meet the width and length for me.

In size I wanted to be the most near to a new type Mondeo / Fusion.

Yes, correct! Lovely car, never drove one though

this isn't a concept?

Oh no, it's very real.

Ah, een mede noorderling. /noordholland/ hier.

Groningen is mijn geboorte provincie, bedoel ik. Woon momenteel in Noord-Holland als een randstad cuck.

Fuck, if they did a three-door, less elongated version of he SD1, it would be mine in a heartbeat.

Volvo 480
Shame its fwd tho, but hey it got flip ups.

Ai dat lijkt me best kut als je van auto's houdt. Ik studeer hier ook in het noorden en als de zon ondergaat kan ik zo mooi touren over de landweggetjes, daar kan niks tegenop

Aero cars are neat

...

This kinda fits? Though it looks more like an integrated grill

Dutch women are complicated and unsubmissive, I fell in love with one and she pissed the fuck outta me.

If you have a sierra why would you upgrade? I have a mk4 escort and it runs fine with good maintenance.

...

You mean Nasenbär?

Mazda MX-6
MK 2 Prelude
Opel Manta
MK 1 Xantia

and pic related

>Nasenbär
That's Nazispeak.

...

I always liked that below-bumper grill.
I liked the 480 in general, most just look like absolute shit though.

And Dutch is cheesespeak, so what?

GM Brazil made a restyling for ascona (monza in south america) so he could look-alike the omega from 1991 to 1996.

...

...

What about the sexiest Corolla ever made?

This and the CRX are one of the best automotive asses in history.

We got this one instead.

Which is the GOAT Corolla.

Arguably the least sexy corrola ever made. That bug eye period of Toyota is one to forget.

S12?

Bug eyes ruined so many fucking cars.
Even the W210 fucking E-Class had them and it was awful. The fuck were those fucking designers thinking.
