The fandom was really divided about the last year's SXSW's presentation. It was advertised as "Big News for the Future of Sonic!!!" but it was a joke. Most people ate up the memes but I got aggravated. I saw some people calling /sthg/ cancer in the comments section of a Sonic Stadium post so I decided to come check it out. I decided to stay because I don't think criticism and being disappointed in 30 minutes of memes is cancer

The week of the 25th anniversary party. Everyone was just so happy. We celebrated. There was no shitposting. So many good vibes all around.

What game has the best skating animation for Shadow?
Sonic Adventure 2.
SA2. I can't exactly describe why it looks so much better than in the other games but it has something to do with the way he leans in. It really sells the fact his rocket skates are frictionless.
Because he actually looks like he's skating, not just gliding like he's on ice.

At top speed I can see where you're coming from, but it still looks more visually interesting than say, the animation from Heroes, which is essentially generic ice skating rather than an animation which takes into account the rocket shoes' effect on Shadow's balance.
