actually they didn't have a lot of Ford parts in them (Land Rovers, dunno about Jags). Ford didn't do jack with LR and all the heavy lifting was done by BMW. At some point they've just added their engines and infotainment. That's it.

inspected several used jaguars from the 90s-2000s recently. The burning question I had later was who the fuck actually wants and owns these cars? Garbage build and reliability issues galore. Plastic cheapshit interior everywhere.
Basically, I surmise that the only people who buy jags are those who want the image of "luxury" but don't want to dump Mercedes or BMW bucks, or just want to feel like a special shit snowflake for having something few people (for good reason) have.
