what poojoe is that

205 GTI Gutmann

is it expensive?

Idk about expensive, but rare af. I can't find one for sale anywhere.

There's a good damned reason that the French car companies went bankrupt: they're all fucking shit.

Citroen was gone in the 70's, Renault gone in the 80's (my step-sister had an Encore, and that was the absolutely worst piece of trash I'd ever seen), and surprisingly Peugeot hung on until 1991. After that, they were all gone though.

Make shit cars, go out of business. It's just that simple. (unless you're Chrysler with the constant fucking government bailouts)

remember renault was the most stubborn. read the wiki.
Renault had factories in the usa. its worse than how you put it. it took the assassination of the CEO for Renault to actually pull out of the usa

Nice trips, but I don't think it's fair to say ALL French cars are junk.

Wonder if anyone's imported an older Holden yet. Haven't seen anything like that.

they are probably worth money in aus. so i would doubt it.

...

There are a few for sale where I live, but they're not exactly cheap.

vehicules.autoscout24.be/?atype=C&make=55&mmvco=1&model=1934&version=GTI&mmvmk0=55&mmvmd0=1934&fuel=B&gear=M&cy=B&offer=U,N,O,D,J,S&ustate=N,U&dtr=s

I mean the Gutmann version, but regular GTIs are also pretty unusual

...

Underrated? Not at all.

Uncommon? Just like an Audi RS7, yes.

Under rated

a CUTE

...

the Swift, sport especially

no commies allowed

the 205 looks so fucking good

being uncommon due to this

>Renault had factories in the usa. its worse than how you put it. it took the assassination of the CEO for Renault to actually pull out of the usa
French Drama

This, they are upwards of 100k cars, doubtful any Americans would import them.

See a lot of XB falcons that have been turned into mad maxs car in America though.

what do you mean "out of business" ?
those 3 brands are still active as of today...

What are you fucking stupid?

Citroen: last car sold in 1974
Renault: last car sold in 1987
Peugeot: last car sold in 1991

goo DOT gl/2CDyKF

R5 turbo

This car is overrated literally everywhere that has an audience who know cars. Please leave.

They still sell outside of North America though dumbass

Tvr griffith

the fuck are you on about

...

205 is one of the meme cars like an 86, did you think this was an obscure car? Are you under the age of 25?

Burger Mentality: amerifats believes burgerland is the centre of the universe...

Leave the confines of your canandian hat and your smelly mexican socks, there is whole world out there for you too discover and they have McDonalds almost everywhere so dont panic too hard!

...

Well I don't wanna get beat to death by a smelly Arab so no

>outside of North America
>implying anybody gives a shit about the Third World

>amerifats believes burgerland is the centre of the universe...
That's true though. We are the most important nation on earth and also the best one. I don't give a fuck about your opinion, that's a fact.

none of these cars posted are even available in the US

So you might say they are uncommon then you stupid cunt.

>none of these cars posted are even available in the US
You don't say?

>french cars are trash!
from the country that literally has a care company called Dodge?

They really are shit though.
any good cars are sold in high numbers in Australia because cars generally don't last long down there.

name one french car in the history of ever that sold well in Australia.

are you kidding?
Peugeots and Citroens are very common in Australia in the cities.

There are well over 2000 for sale on carsales right now, and considering Peugeot only started importing in the 90's and Citroen in 2000's that's significant.

any buicks?
oh, 18 and all classic imports, guess it's a trash brand
Chevtolet?
less than even Citroen and almost all classic cars again
Dodge, less than citroen
Cadillac then America's luxury car brand!
oh.. 77 for sale...

Seems than American cars are far worse than french cars...

youtube.com/watch?v=aShkO8upPBA

Yeah and this thread is about cars in the US, dumbass

Wait wait wait.

You guys don't get Citroens, Renaults OR peugeots? Citroens are mostly trash (Cheap lux though) but the other two make nice mid quality cars (Think modern BMW quality) for a lot less money.

Wtf?

French cars are small and mostly not super exciting, but at least they're built like cars should be. American cars fall apart as you drive them off the lot.

American cars are shit though, why o you think even Ford does not sell them in Australia?
Ford Ranger is a great example, the Australian Ford Ranger is actually a decent car that is sold world wide where as the American car is an oversized shit heap that only Americans would be stupid enough to buy.

the boattail riv

my nigga

then you got this shit

I would buy the shit out of that ranger.

One sold for like $125k on Bring a Trailer a while ago. I can't believe how expensive they are.

>why o you think even Ford does not sell them in Australia?
Hmm

some of the popularity can be attributed to this generation mustang being able to be bought at the dealership rather than importing the car, unlike previous generations.

As well as the mustang being big and having a v8 fits right into australia. Pretty good for long road trips.

Both underrated and uncommon.

>buh it's EFF WEE DEE

You do realise Peugeot and Citroen sell less than 100 cars per month each in Australia? And that's over the whole range, not just a specific model.
The other poster is correct. They don't sell well here, because they're shit for the most part.

>They don't sell well here, because they're french
Exactly.

...

>takes australian car manufacturing stopping in Australia due to cost for American cars to even be worth considering
Mustangs have always been available in Australia anyway, they were just never better than a Falcon.

>domestic market vehicles are more common than grey imports
STOP THE PRESS

N15 Pulsars SSS, they're pretty powerful and have an SR20, really cool cars.

I know a guy who has a Holden ute. He found it at a tow yard when looking for a motorcycle hauler.

Made in the USA, but not sold there.

>unless you're Chrysler with the constant fucking government bailouts
oh yes my goyim
let's make AMERICAN citizens pay for the companies choices
let's save the AMERICAN car industry
let's protect our AMERICAN jobs
"fuck the commies"

>takes shit that doesn't limit anyone's car choices stopping in Australia for American cars to even be worth considering
Sorry, you're not making much sense as Australian car manufacturing stopped because not enough australians of their own free will were buying australian cars. there would've never been a "cost" problem if they could sell enough in mass.

>Mustangs have always been available in Australia anyway
Grey market in LHD-only=/= available and is a inconvenience.
>they were just never better than a Falcon.
Because they were never optimised for ausland (aka RHD) until now.

Lmao, look at the virgin drumpfkin throwing a tantrum.

>be american
>get force fed cuck nigger porn before getting shot

it has the reputation because it's great

You are a daft cunt.
they have been available in rhd for decades.

don't believe me?
Go find a lhd mustang for sale in Australia that isnt from the 60's.

based Bedford Rascal poster

except its not a fact?

you rank 20th for personal liberties too by the way. 19 other countries more free than you. remember that, you pleb draconian shithole cunt

>source: google personal liberty index. done by some cunt at one of your colleges/universities.

Have they solved the problem with the swift sport that if you try to kill the dutch royal family, you will miss and hit a monument?

Thanks for proving me right homey I mean nigga u dumb as a rock

i'm sorry what?

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2009_attack_on_the_Dutch_royal_family
>Weapons Suzuki Swift

the Australian sold fords are made in Thailand or locally, American build fords are rare and usually grey market imports

Because the american car companies have stopped australian car builders from building coupes. hell americans can't even say coupe

how many Dodges, Chevrolets, cadillacs, lincons ect get sold in australia?

May I present the Mexican-only market Stratus R/T that was available with the 2.4L Turbo engine akin to the PTGT and SRT4 Neon engines

Another rare Mexico-only Dodge
The 99-01 RamCharger

Burger won't get those lmao.

This thread is fuckin retarded some of these were never even sold in the us market

"out of business" means the company doesn't exist any more
those companies still exist
thus they're not out of business

the fact that this thread is about cars in the US doesn't mean the rest of the world suddenly ceased to exist

>any buicks?
Considering Buick's lineup is mostly rebadged Opels, as is Holden's nowadays, sure.

Wtf is it. I want

Shit that actually sounds pretty good and getting it across the border wouldnt be hard

They also made it in the first generation Stratus as well, they're tuned for dirty gas and torque, so with a proper tune it would be like any other stock srt4

1989 Mitsubishi Mirage GT/Dodge Colt GT, I'm trying to restore this one but parts are a huge pain in the ass.

Strays probably has a shit ton of parts for those
They call em Mitsubishi Colts

just buy a Colorado ZR2 instead.

Hey wait a minute, is that a rebadged Mitsubishi Minicab?

Mitsubishi Motors USA fucking sucks. I couldn't even find the tie rod adjusters for my 1998 Montero. Everywhere else in the world can get this shit no problem.

The Mustang fears the Falcon
