I was surprised to see a fictional place so soon into ACX, but this XFA-24 really doesn't have the most stellar performances or anything.

Ace Combat: The Belkan War. I was eight and picked it because it looked nice.
The Stage of Apocalypse scared me because I already knew what an EMP is. The distortion effect on the HUD made me think that my plane could just drop like a rock at a moment's notice.

The later versions just got kinda shit tbqh. The Forenus is more aesthetic, probably because it had a proper tailplane.

Real talk tho. I had a ton of fun with both routes. Even if the UPEO one lacked a proper bossfight I still liked that ending the most, because fuck I want those three shitters to go on freelancing/mercenary work/adventures.
