Yes, dual blades are probably the melee weapon that makes the most use out of elemental damage.

Depends on the game, but yes in general.
DB are where element shines and is preferable to pure raw.

I honestly think they will never make good on 4s mobility concept mainly because of the sheer ambition they had originally.
That and it could easy change the way the game is played negatively if they aren't extremely careful.
Swimming could reach its full potential but capcom is too much of a pussy to try it.

Is each shot the full mv, or is each shot a percentage of full?

If each shot is a percentage, and assuming each shot hits, is the damage done more than if it were only the single shot?

Each shot is a percentage and the percentage depends on the shot. For instance, element is 70% effectiveness, and that goes for both the minuscule raw part of the shot and the element part of the shot. So yeah, if you hit every shot, it'd be stronger than just one non RF shot.

I did the same thing and just ended up using alloy legs for the torso up. But I used that grinding as an opportunity to complete each weapon for the arenas and also tried to get better times. I still ended up 2 pinnacle coins short and said fuck it.

I know people are going to jump on me for saying so, but I'd really like to see MHW go all-out in trying to achieve some of those ambitions. A "dynamic, living world" where the player is the guest of honor is a neato concept for sure, but in games like that the fun usually is in the form of witnessing the TECHNOLOGY at work. Once that initial wonderment and awe is gone it all becomes very routine, and if you've been playing video games for any decent period of time then you can easily start seeing behind the curtain and you loose immersion-- doubly so if you didn't care about it in the first place.

I'm imagining a perfect, wonderful timeline where we get frequent updates with new maps, hunts, and monsters. Maybe they bring back underwater maps in the form of DLC where you gotta get SCUBA gear, or add new ones you can gain access too after a certain rank or can stumble into on your own, or plop in the arena at some point and start porting over monsters from other games that would otherwise seem out of place. Enough varied content for everyone to enjoy, no matter how you want to play or what kind of player you are

It's just that a part of me knows it's so horribly useless to wish for a good game instead of set myself up for disappointment, and that the safer bet is to buckle up and prepare to get assmad that for the umpteenth time the game I bought was a big pile of shit

Its not going to, World is already a weird thing since its trying to target a new audience but is has to do its best keeping the old fans interested.
