Blue smoke on acceleration 350Z

Just bought a 350Z with about 80k miles, now it's getting very little light blue smoke on acceleration (not all the time). I'm a bit concerned. Should I sell it and move on?

Blue smoke from my experience has meant you're burning oil. It most often happens with higher milage engines though

If that IS the case just check your oil levels often and if it runs low, fill it back up and you'll be fine.

I hate to break it to you but blue smoke on acceleration is a classic symptom of bad piston rings

So the seller offered to buy it back for 5k. I paid 7300. Should I take take the loss?
It has Megan coilovers, exhaust, and upper Control arms.

well, why didn't you check the car before buying it?

It's just a little oil burning. No car is perfect, certainly not older sports cars and DEFINITELY not the 350z. Keep an eye on it and fill up when necessary.

Could be the valve stem seals or the PCV valve.

My friend who is a mechanic did a poor job inspecting it.. Should've went to a shop. Should I just sell it right now for a loss or wait and try to sell it if I get the pink slip?

Or maybe you should try growing a pair, locating the fault and fixing it?

not like it's going to blow up you retard

all cars have issues and they all need maintenance and you have to pay to fix things every once and a while, if you aren't prepared for that responsibility then yeah sell it and don't buy another car
