I want Quake Champions to have guest characters from other IPs, but that would make the game even more broken and harder to "balance" than it already is.
>that face when no Gordon Freeman with his jump pack module as his active skill and having slightly increased resistances to environmental hazards as his passive >my feel when no Xan Kriegor or Malcolm or Gorge or Brock with OP shit

Does strike vector count as an arena "fps"? What about that new Descent game? I hear the devs have been pushing it into an """"esport"""" despite the fans of the franchise wanting a nice and polished singleplayer experience

Reflex devs said they're adding moving brushes. Iirc. It was quite recent too so maybe next patch. Why would you use pervious technology if it's bad technology? If a team of 2-3 people can out do a large studio why even bother with the old? It really makes no sense.

People talk about, zfps (fps with a large degree of vertical elements), arenafps (mainly pickups, some element of speed and a similar spawn situation seem to define the genre) and battle arenas (Tf2, Lawbreakers, Battlerite). Battle arenas are just games that are contexted by an arena. Mobas generally aren't included because their world extends into purchases and such. Afps is generally what this general is about but i feel we should expand. Zfps is more like a definition of a mechanic in these games.
