Yeah, I know it's 2wd, but it's stick.
Good deal?

losangeles.craigslist.org
Truly an intellectual.
I normally shitpost but I can't sit back and watch you possibly buy that jeep without warning you.
I owned a similar grand cherokee and literally, yes literally everything broke on that truck except for the engine. It ran (roughly and loudly) and was good in the snow but that's it.
I hope you are either a very good mechanic with a barn full of Jeep parts or some sort of masochist.
Be careful about those 90s jeeps, man. The engine and powertrain is good but everything else is so shit it ain't even funny. It will rust into the ground and the electronics will be so ridiculously fucky. On my jeep, the rear driver window rolls down but doesn't roll up. When you attempt to roll it up it cuts power to the stereo. The power mirrors don't work and none of the passengers have window control.
Geez, thanks for the warning, I was about to pull the trigger.
I could have sworn they were bulletproof in every aspect, but I guess it's only the powertrain.
Would you guys recommend a final-gen (last year of production) '02 Isuzu Trooper instead?
I found a super low mileage luxotrim one selling for $2.2k and it's pretty clean.
Is this legit, or bullshit?
losangeles.craigslist.org
>losangeles.craigslist.org
some info doesn't line up. HE says it has a v8 when the bodystyle and year (2001 is still 3rd gen) can only be a 3.4 v6 or a 2.7 i4
Honestly, I don't know how many 4.0L jeeps these guys have owned but i've been raised around them all my life. My mom drives a 4.0L with 180000 miles that has certainly been neglected, drives like a top. Thoroughly test everything else. an auto mechanic will be cheaper than maintenance on a Isuzu.
my coworker has a jeep like this and the brakes failed on him one time, might've just been his psycho gf cutting brake lines though lol
>might've just been his psycho gf cutting brake lines though
fucking thots man, im glad im still a /v/irgin.

bulletproof, scotty kilmer's favorite.
if you know how to wrench, you are set for life.
Well, I haven't been on this thread since I bought a Toyota Tercel for $100. (It died after ~5000 miles)
Today I just picked up a $400 1993 Geo Prizm. Mostly to have something to clean up while I wait for my 2003 Hyundai Accent to die.
It looks like the only real problems are cosmetic or just plan stupid. One or 2 junkyard raids should have it in tip top shape.
I would try to preserve the Accent, but it was cheap and I don't know how much effort I want to put in it. Maybe I'll use it to learn to rebuild an engine.
Has 230,353 miles according to Carfax
losangeles.craigslist.org
I don't know guys, are Rodeos/Passports solid SUVs?
nvm, my dad told me to fuck off and shove it up my ass because of the mileage.
What is even the point of a 2wd jeep
Unless you don't ever plan on having fun offroad/in the mud I'd steer you away from a 2wd jeep. My gf has one, and consistently feels left out of the fun.
I'm in fucking love
losangeles.craigslist.org
Another one in slightly worse condition interior-wise.
orangecounty.craigslist.org
Isn't a 2wd jeep kind of useless? The jeeps only selling point is the 4wd and it's straight six. A good engine alone isn't worth dealing with literally everything else on a jeep that will break. If you want a fun toy suv just get something lighter.
This, i had a 93 cherokee for 2 months, the steering rack fell out, the gearbox shit itself twice, the fuel pump died, one day the front left wheel locked up and the brake pads fell out and destroyed the rotor, nothing but a fucking lemon.
Ive seen the exact same listing on KC CL. Same pictures and everything
'94 Jeep Grand Cherokee
>Wheels would lock up for no reason
>Headlight sometimes wouldn't work
>Only one window roll down (not back up)
>Rough idle
>Terrible gas mileage
>The interior buttons and switches would fall off
>Rear view mirror would fall off randomly
>Rattled like a bucket of marbles
>Radio would work like 50% of the time
Keep in mind this thing was babied, never taken off road and used for commuting and buying groceries
...
I knew I have seen these pictures before, fucking scammers.
Flagged that shit.
I don't get it, is he going to give you a $3k rebate, or discount the car to $23,000?
...
who knows. at 27k he's 7k underwater. not to mention is a shitty 2.5 sr.
Just came across this weird little RV designed by Larry Shinoda, who designed the Corvette Sting Ray, the Z-28 Camaro, and the Boss 302 Mustang.
harrisburg.craigslist.org
Is an '07 GTI with 102k miles a bad idea? Really want one and the price doesn't seem too bad.
Any advice appreciated
newyork.craigslist.org
>harrisburg.craigslist.org
this thing would be dope with a modern interior. that engine is fuct though, they spraypainted the pulleys while they were installed on the engine.. hiding something (that or they are retarded and thought it looked gooder)

What DO
Alright Veeky Forums, why is it wobbling? Owner says it's probably a tire that needs balancing, so it's probably not that.
austin.craigslist.org
I wouldn't trust anyone who owns a pitbull for the same reasons I wouldn't trust anyone with neck or face tattoos.
orangecounty.craigslist.org
Should I? I already have a DD. Just wanted a beater to practice driving stick.
Can I trust this?
imperial.craigslist.org
I need a moneypit for a daily driver. This seems to fit the bill but I don't think the tires and i dislike the condition of the seats.
capecod.craigslist.org
Bump.
austin.craigslist.org
Talk it down to $5,000 considering it's been in a crash, remember to check the frame for hairline cracks.
Other than that, solid truck.
seems nice, but watch out for that roof leak that he mentioned in the ad
Look for any potential water damage or rust in the interior
>bought this car when I was 19
>it's a 2002
>I'm 33 now.
>don't try to get me with lowballs and what KBB says
seattle.craigslist.org
>shift knob on backwards
Stay far away user, thats the work of satan
Not too bad for $4000, unlike
i would buy the one owner car with 52k 10000x over if it came between the two. fuck the retard with his trillions of boy racer mods.
bump
No sir. That model didn't have a V8.
Whats wrong with your life? This is what i imagine carnies to do when its not carnival season.
Got a gem right here fellas, enjoy

Why do people do this?
so no matter what someone searches, the add will show up because the search term is within the post

$8,000. No way I'd ever pay that.

TIL there's a pasadena in maryland.
autotrader.co.uk
It's not Craigslist, but that's the first time I've ever seen "PARTS MISSING FOLLOWING THEFT". Not sure if the color is factory but I love it.
What a disgusting bed.
Worth $17k? Not a Shelby...but Shelby badging :|
stlouis.craigslist.org
What's wrong with it you think?
Iknow I would probably be bothered by everyone calling me a poser but that looks real nice
I think I'll buy it tomorrow.
If I can get $13k for my 2014 V6 with 20k miles I'll be happy
Post pics if you do, even if it's not a real Shelby, it's one sexy ride.
I drive a 4.0 and it's pretty darn reliable. It's got 230k miles now and all I've done is change the front diff (previous owner never changed the diff oil so the teeth fell off) and fix the death wobble.
Other than that it's been reliable thank God.
>tfw no room in garage
only complaint is its the wrong color.
seattle.craigslist.org
What do you guys think of this? Probably the cleanest looking one around the area but also twice as much as others I've seen.

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
how do you filter these retarded fucking downpayment ads?
by looking at cars so old that no dealer will have them.
Is 2000-2001 the perfect range?
My dad doesn't want me to have anything older than 2000, he's paying btw.
then i guess you are kinda fucked.
Looking for a first car, this is within my budget, seller is open to negotiation, mileage isn't bad, and it looks to be in good shape. Should i do it?
fayetteville.craigslist.org
How about this? It's $200 cheaper, but it's far more practical for a first car.
fayetteville.craigslist.org
Another suggestion.
fayetteville.craigslist.org
Opels are pretty reliable, think about it m8.
Thanks for the suggestions user.
np
>bags removed and coilovers installed
>Mechanic owned*
>still looks like it has rear-bag sag
I would say yes if the owner sets the rear higher if he actually has it on coilovers and not blown bags
>tfw title was on lien and the bank was closed
Gave him a downpayment of $1k and I'll finish the rest out on Monday.
IT'S HAPPENING, LADS. Got to test drive it. Dat v8.
Congrats m8.
There's some autistic boomer with an '86 2.8L Cherokee on the local craigslist for 12 grand.
jfc, does it atleast have low mileage?

I feel like this would be worth a shit at maybe 7k, but not fucking 15k lol.
