Uglier heavier slightly faster "fiat" miata nd
Ask Longpost guy if he is online
its a Miata that isnt as gay or ugly and easier to upgrade
I like the look of it
Here's how it goes:
>Don't care how fast it is?
Miata
>Want to daily it or modify it just a little?
Fiata
>Want a little roadster you can modify more than a little?
Miata
The Miata's engine is better and with a turbo/supercharger kit would kill the Fiata. But the Fiata makes slightly more power stock and with a tune and a few parts you can make a bit more power. Problem is, that engine doesn't have a ton of potential left in it.
The Fiata handles a little better from factory. But you could buy coilovers for the Miata and it would handle better.
It's just a variation of the Miata with upgraded parts and an engine that is maybe slightly better stock? That's up for debate. Personally I like the Fiata looks better but the black hood looks childish to me, although I know you don't have to get that option.
Tbh I'd probably buy a Miata, supercharger kit, and coilovers.

It's absolute garbage
It's a better looking, faster and more reliable Miata.
The skyactive doesn't take boost well at all. Where as the little 1.4 will run 260hp all day and unlike the Miata the gearbox will take it.
It's a Miata with a turbo. It's also a Miata without looking like a bitch. Given that I love old Italian roadsters, this thing seems awesome.
>13.0:1 compression ratio
>Boost
Pick one. Boosting an ND is a plain bad idea.
>Problem is, that engine doesn't have a ton of potential left in it.
Tuners have regularly made 250hp Abarth 500's. It's the same engine - but the NC type gearbox that comes with the 124 is a lot stronger than both the ND unit, and the transmission in the 500, which is usually the limiting factor.
To put it this way: a 650 EUR piggyback will get you 45hp/40tq on the 124. Similar upgrades will only make 20/20 at most on the ND, that's how little there is left on the Skyactiv. You need to build it for boost, because of that high CR. The Fiat is overall the best choice for mild mods, and for significant mods: why not put the 1.75T in there?
