I'll bite op
I love it man.
No unnecessary screens or useless tech for that matter
The dashboard has digital representations of analog gauges. Holy fuck whyyyyyy!!! The new Civic has screens too.
8th gen is so underrated
Not the same but close enough
The last gen S class did the same thing in 2005, see
>manual transmission not allowed
I'd have loved to buy one.
Yeah I figured it will probably be the last car I have to have buttons instead of touch screen(s).
It's pretty overwhelming with the array of buttons

I don’t have a new S class like OP / LARP OP, but I do have heaps of comfy.
Sportcross guy?
I want a green 5spd IS300 badly for a weekend mountain road burner.
Here's my interior
all that wood, fake or not makes it comfy
what car?
heres mine, comfy?
Here you go, OP
I'd love to do a swap in the future.
Yup!
Lexus is300 sportcross here in the states.
>mercedes interiors
Damn thought I clicked right. kek yes I'm one of the ones who lurk around.
...
...
Yes, Mercedes interiors.
comfy
Thank God they changed the steering wheels
tfw no aesthetic 3 rotor with a super nintendo for a navigation system
A tad gimmicky
Like trying to copy Lexus trying to copy spyker
All those buttons in the door card are ridiculous
Those buttons have been there on S classes for like 2 decades now, it's just seat adjust and memory
This obviously isn't mine but I want to post it anyway
McLaren 720s custom interior made by McLaren Special Operations
Thank you
The wood is real
Lexus marches all wood panels to come from the same tree on the LS.
Wow.
No offense but with all the laminate on it, it looks kinda fake. Still comfy tho.
I think it's pretty comfy.
>dat lil bit o' cocaine stuck in the cupholder lid
comfy as FUCK
Lacquer not laminate. But thanks again. It really pops when the sunlight hits it. I never thought I’d like wood accents in a car, but this really changed my mind the second the morning sunlight hit it.
Laminate is like a plywood. But can look pretty neat as a decorative finish because you can dye the various layers of wood for neat effects.
The current trend in automotive interiors is “open pore” wood trim. Basically, the wood is sand, stained, and left without a varnish or lacquer layer. The appearance is more modern, and the texture is unmistakeable and cannot be faked. As you correctly point out, the glossier finishes can be copied with plastics, and made to look indistinguishable, while open pore cannot be faked.
Pic related....open pore eucalyptus in a BMW i3 fagmobbile.
Cool, what kind of LR is that
Currently torn apart with the new wiring harness and all being done.
7 years ago for comparison
does it get more comfy than this?
bringatrailer.com
add those pillows they gave you from factory and then..no it does not

LR2, the budget rover.
...
What car? I NEED IT
>dials and vents are on an angle
>it has those bizarre "automatic" seatbelts
I like it.
eunos cosmo. l2reverseimage
not comfy.
cannot un-see.
First car, has served me well for years.
Well, it actually is. Heated leather w/ lumbar is standard. AA is standard 2016+. The nav screen can be turned completely off. The instrument cluster backlight can get pretty dim too. Driving at night with the panoramic roof open is rather fun on a warm evening.
The stock sound system speakers are pretty shit in my opinion, but this seems to be prevalent in every Hyundai that's not over 50k (Genesis).
The E Class
shitty shot of the 124's interior
...
>hgggnh
That's fucking disgusting
still fucking disgusting
much better
[rusts externally]
Shame because that's a really nice interior.

The bolstering in the seats is worn out to be the point where the seat is actually more comfy
>hating on 1g DSM
Gtfo
the only thing this is missing is a cup of coffee and an unopened pack of cigarettes
The backseats look super comfy
>cant beat a shityota

Citroën C4
Probably would be if there was leg room that an adult could fit back there without laying across the seats.

I think my rx7 interior is comfy as fuck. Seats were softer back them

Let's just all three of us get together.
>yfw this fag samefags himself
I was adverse to the dash mounted shifter at first but its actually pretty comfy and in a nice place. I personally like it much better than the floor shifter on my fox body
>dat nauseating sea of hard, gray cheap shiny plastic
how could it get any comfier?
It's comfier than It should be, but I'm coming from a mid 90s base model econobox an 80s pony car, so my standards for luxury are much lower
Pretty comfy, recaro seats can be a little hard but you get used to it quick.

Its my sc400
Custom leather interior
Maximum comfy
Paid 8k for interior work

Wtf
10/10
Pretty comfy
Nah, Mercedes does the same thing. They laquer and varnish the fuck out of the wood trim until it looks like glass. The fact that Lexus is bothering with that just gave me more respect for lexus.
Oh shit, I miss those travelling seat belts. That was the shit
Inb4 autotragic
...
not that interesting
...
Yuck.
>those plaid seats
>buttons exactly where they should be
>organized knobs, not too little but not too many buttons
Only turn off for me is the digital dash, otherwise, it's MAXIMUM c/o/mfy
>buttons exactly where they should be
>organized knobs, not too little but not too many buttons
What did he mean?
The steering wheel is filled with a shitton of buttons, the console looks like this only because you have the shill optional navigation system that I still have to see on a real car yet and not only in AD photos.
The buttons of the climate control are all of the same size and you have to look at them to know what you're pressing, they look the same.
In the end, the shiny black plastic shit is third world tier. Really.
>The buttons of the climate control are all of the same size and you have to look at them to know what you're pressing
lol what?
placement is more than enough for muscle memory to work properly
you don't need mismatched knobs sizes for this
and with all your dubious criticisms you forgot the worse thing about the interior: electronic parking brake
>autism
