DE wasn't balanced. It was a 3 class meta, exactly like it is now (now is obviously worse, but that doesn't make DE fine).
Post-nerf RoB was the most balanced meta we've had.

The thing is aggro shadow relies heavily on your curve and crash itself going second. Midrange is the more stable variant but much slower.

DE was balanced in the sense that the t2 decks were actually decent and could still win. The only people who thought otherwise were the poor "oppressed" shadowniggers.

How to complete rune quests if you don't have a decent burn deck:
Put the cards you have that normally go in a d-shift deck
Go to unranked
Concede instantly until you find a hagfag
Keep the low cost spells
Play them and watch them not do anything for 3 turns
Emote when they concede

Brick Destroyer is there for testing because I was feeling like I needed more Spellboost followers, but I think he will be dropped for a second Strike or Iceform.
I also tested Melvie and Bolt.
Melvie was most of the time just useless because drawing by itself is not strong enough. Daria is good draw not only for the potential free Oglers/Emmys, but also because she can have her cost reduced herself, while Melvie cannot.
Bolt is just a dumb meme and a brick.
