In America there's no practical benefit to bikes. People only ride them because they like bikes. When cars outnumber bikes 100:1 it's nice to see people who share your interest.
I don't get it, it's just a wave.
They have something in common and some sense of camaraderie because of it, why you gotta be so autistic about it?

I think the worst people are the cruiser riders who don't respect the sportbike riders, and vice versa.
Showing a sign of respect and friendliness is nothing to get upset over.
