Barring Baltheon cause that's not gonna happen I'm trying to decide whether I'll do a four-man or three, and if I should stick to Armel for the pen (I would go down to 95% if I got rid of her) or switch to Shura (for crit) or Hamerus for the stupid double stack of Smug and Corrosive Cell?

Mine has 75 % before the match which still doesn't feel enough, even with my stupid backline that stacks CR I still get crit sometimes. It's enough for galaxy, but so are most things

What criteria do I follow to choose which one is in front of enemy striker?

None of those are particularly bad to hit or exceptional at penetrating so I'd just place the striker in her preferred position. I avoid hitting things like Aiolos those for obvious reasons. I never place them in the center

You'll want the defender that has elemental advantage against the striker, they'll steal even at low hp. Or just Magnus if your defenders aren't maxed and you don't want the ai to fuck you.

Usually it's someone that has an effect that procs when being shot at jiho or aiolos, someone that can heal over time so your gk won't take a soloshot to the face like silk or elua.
Chitose could be good infront of striker as long as she's faster because of her atb drain active
