Some people still think the "friendship / something more" determines Chloe's feelings, not how she chooses to express them and tbf hearing all the Square PR bullshit like "hurr durr durr, CHOICES! hurr AMBIGUITY hurru, YOU DECIDE!" it's easy to see they want both to appeal to the people who want teenage lesbian simulator and at the same time are trying to be as inoffensive to hetfags as possible.

A lot of people connected with her plotline about bullying, depression and suicide. It was especially prevalent in discussions after Ep2.
Sure maybe we don't get to know a lot about her or see her in many different contexts aside of her being bullied but people can still value what she represents as a character as opposed to going all Warren

So I just beat this game last week for the first time, and I've been lurking here for a few days. I'm definitely on the Baefag side. But I've been thinking about how the final time-line ends up if you choose to "sacrifice the Bay". Max uses Warren's photo to jump to Thursday night before the party, she warns Chloe and they never go to the party, never go to the junkyard, don't get ambushed Chloe's not shot, Max doesn't end up in the Dark Room. Instead according to what Chloe said afterwards they just went to her mom's house and... what? Just sat around all Thursday night/Friday morning waiting for the storm? Sure they could have just spent the night having wild, uninhibited sex, but it seems like it would have been the perfect opportunity to WARN EVERYONE THEY KNOW ABOUT THE STORM.

Some people wouldn't believe them sure, but if Max told Warren to just get his family and anyone else he can and get them to leave town for the day, you know he'd do it. Same for Kate if you saved her. Or how about this, everyone you helped out or made friends with over the week could have some kind of point system where they're willing to believe Max or not based on what you did. If you saved Vanessa from getting hit or helped Brook hook up with Warren or was sympathetic about Taylor's mom and so on they trust her.

Look at that, I just came up with a way they could have put in more than two endings AND made all the choices you made throughout the game ACTUALLY FUCKING MATTER. Imagine that.

Hey /lisg/. I finished this game for the first time a couple days ago. The game was pretty good. Even days after finishing, I come here to read shit about the endings. I don't know but I feel as if my desires haven't been sated by the game and I continually want to know more. It's been a couple days and I am still getting a lingering feelings to come here and read.

I didn't have feelings for them, because I appreciated them in an artistic manner, as they should be appreciated. Having feelings for characters is not comparable to pure, revolting waifuing, however.

Why do you think this place has existed for so long? Love of Pricefield and disdain for the endings. Which turned out to be a big blessing in disguise and allowed us to continue to this point.
Anyway, best thing to do is discuss stuff here and read lots a fics (Check the recs sections in the OP). Even though I haven't seen any really good post-storm fics yet. Mostly fix-it ones where Max does as many people wanted her to do and find a third option (But that's not her fault, that's the writers who dumbed her down for the finale)
