I am a little over halfway through Libra of the Vampire Princess and so far I am enjoying it. I would give it a 9.5/10 but since there is one thing that I cannot stand, I will be forced to drop down to 7/10.

It's because of the pathetic protagonist Shuuma. He is such a coward and he clings to staying human. He acts like a pathetic child and it really gets on my nerves sometimes. I don't understand why anyone would make such a pathetic main character but oh well.

If you don't like visual novels with pathetic protagonists, then you will want to steer clear of this one because it may just very well be the most pathetic protagonist I have ever read about and that's bad because I have read some pretty pathetic protagonists over the years.

Other than that, the story is great, girls are cute and overall it is a decent visual novel but I take away points for the protagonist. They should have made him a cool vampire that is strong, not some childish little bitch who whines all the time and relies on girls and gets them to do everything for him.
