Depending on the grinder it can be really heavy and difficult to make clean cuts with. Now that I think of it, it's like operating a quiet chainsaw.

Yeah the DD12 in the New Cascadia I drove only managed 8.0MPG, and that was with a 12-speed. Of course it also had both rear axles powered and had duallies instead of SUPA SINGAS which skyline wouldn’t order, but the Freightshaker dealer claimed that the drivetrain was set up specifically for fuel economy. My T680 with a PACCAR whatever, 15L I think, gets the same or better fuel economy.
