Friendly reminder that PD only tries her hardest to make you feel good and that she had deviant tastes.
Sebastian Price
just lost my first hero and learned the hard way that the arbalest cannot heal rank 4
i fucked up by not changing the skills before the fight but i don't think it would have mattered, knew that fucking low speed was going to bite me in the ass
Aiden Johnson
>Surprised on radiant light Is this new?
Matthew Robinson
No, just rare.
Brody Rogers
can random group of mobs drop set trinkets in courtyard?
also can they drop invitations or only outside courtyard?
Wyatt Flores
Invitations are only found outside of the Courtyard.
Zachary Reed
damn
i wanted to loot the entire thing but there is so little i can carry with all the bloods and stuff
Cooper Young
So I just unlocked the granary and have another districts available. What should I get next you guys think?
At first I was inclined towards the Vintners but blood so far has been a non issue.
Gabriel Jenkins
>it's a surprised thrice in a row on radiant light episode
Ethan Baker
>can random group of mobs drop set trinkets in courtyard? only bosses and quest rewards i believe
jester
Robert Walker
do you need a key to free the prisoners?
i just looted something cool and want to throw my keys out
Landon Long
Base surprise chance is 10% for both you and enemies. 75+ light gives you 25% more chance to surpise enemies for a total of 35%, 0 light gives enemies a 40% bonus for a total of 50%.
The only way to reduce enemy suprise chance to 0 is with trinkets or camping skills. Those are also the only ways to increase your chance to surprise enemies, caps at 65%.
Stacking surprise chance is OP btw.
Josiah Green
>It's a surprised thrice in a row on radiant light, shuffling Arbalest to slot 1 and Leper to slot 4 each time episode end me
Joseph Parker
...
Ryan Lopez
I hadnt played in ages until Crimson Court came out. Was he buffed? He always felt a bit awkward to use for me.
The bonus to finale also seems to encourage a shuffler sort of party which never clicked well with me.
Dominic Perez
...
Christopher Brooks
> What should I get next you guys think? Are your Guild, Blacksmith and Sanitarium all maxed out already?
If no, max them first.
If yes, Jester district has the best cost/benefit ratio.
Christian Garcia
Oh lawd.
David Torres
>down in the dumps so attempt an antiquarian run >COLLECTORED
Jonathan Walker
a colorfag im in a discord with is coloring up that lineart of the GR. Only flats for now. he wanted to try to color in the darkest dungeon style?
Carter Flores
he basically 1 shots 1 enemy at the start of every fight with the district, you can stress heal/buff or move into position for bleeding or another finale afterwards
he puts lunge and point blank shot to shame atm
Connor Gomez
i dont understand the devs
courtyard fills your inventory after like 3 curios
how do you even loot that place
Colton Fisher
>rare No, it's fucking not. Ever since DLC is happens to me all the time.
Chase Walker
>newfag
>have fun killing skeletons >NOTSOBAD.JPG >fucking place a torch on some stick >Transdimensional LYNCH monsters decimate my party
Well then
Jason Bell
>portal has a message written on it warning people specifically NOT to use a torch unless you want a bad time >uses torch anyway carelessness will find no clemency in this place
Jace Thomas
Okay how the fuck you're supposed to beat champion fanatic ?
Jaxon Turner
Bout to do the fulminating prophet but I don't really get the guide in the wiki. He seems to be manually destroying the pews? Does the Occultist debuff just trivialize the encounter to a point where he's harmless?
Joshua Williams
a sole occultist will not decrease his damage to trivial levels
William Watson
Same way you would beat apprentice/veteran Fanatic.
Bentley Moore
>Does the Occultist debuff just trivialize the encounter to a point where he's harmless? yes, bring an arbalest, 2 occultists and leper, occultists spam mark and debuff on him while leper mops up the pews and arbalest blasts the prophet to oblivion
Angel Thompson
meant to stress you IRL
also lets you pick what loot you want to keep or allow bad players to retreat early with some stuff
Kayden Lopez
Nah, you just click them. I haven't found a use for regular keys in CC yet.
Brandon Baker
just don't take any damage
Gavin Rivera
Same way you beat the champion hag. It's literally the same boss.
Sebastian Parker
get two occultists, leper & crusader.
Nicholas Ward
>"place a torch if you crave the void" >thinking that's not a death sentence
Levi Nguyen
he looks just like the guy who runs your abbey
Evan Thomas
You can't really ignore the Pyre like you do the pot though
Kevin King
>mfw that's him from the future
Gavin Campbell
i left i dont know how many pictures and crests and around 15k gold
pretty sad desu
Michael Collins
So I just tried my first Champion quest. Went for a short one in the Warrens, first encounter had a Swine Skiver on the back row that critted and nearly brought my entire team to death's door on turn two. What do you do to deal with these things?
Jonathan Nguyen
What a shame. I only have one currently and the stage coach is playing hard to get
Kevin Kelly
It's not.
You can't destroy the Hag's cauldron but you can destroy the pyre.
You can completly ignore the cauldron and quicky kill the Hag because she has only 135 HP and no PROT while the Fanatic has 203 HP, and 15% PROT that he often buffs to 40%.
He also deals much more damage that the Hag.
Jacob Reyes
> What do you do to deal with these things? Stack suprise chance or SPD, especially first turn SPD and kill it before it gets a turn. It's that simple.
Isaiah Richardson
would you go back and loot the northern part or should i just rush to the baron?
Connor Thompson
The Skiver is the worse of the champion enemies. like said, you gotta focus his ass as soon as you can.
Dylan Reyes
stun and kill him ASAP because he shits out unbelievable amounts of damage >2+3+4 position damage for 6-14 damage on 7% crit, inflicting dodge and speed debuffs AND blight >single target stun+knockback for 13-19 damage on a whopping 19% crit
Andrew Foster
you have only explored about 1/4th of the dungeon, take it easy and gather come CC trinkets
grave robber, or an occultist to pull that bitch to the front, you need speed and lots of it
Anthony Richardson
only 1 trinket dropped so far
all the curios yielded other stuff
i think i should go back, but i only have 1 more invitation, darn
Charles Johnson
Does anyone else send vestal exclusively to the brothel?
Josiah Nguyen
REEEEEEEEEEEE
Chase Garcia
...
Carson Cooper
It's a pain in the ass and goes on for what feels like fucking forever. You'll need all the luck we can wish you.
Isaac Peterson
anyone got the Fanatics sprite where he points at his target with the most evil smile possible before he burns them at the pyre?
Isaiah Reed
>using tavern Enjoy your syphilis and -5 SPD.
Thomas Walker
10 seconds in game files
Josiah Williams
over a week without the gamefiles showing up for me
thank you though
John Gutierrez
Newfag here what is the occultists purpose? I just got my first occultist and he was brought to deaths door in 3 rooms and then healed himself for 0. The vestal just seems superior and less inconsistant.
Noah Miller
>Newfag here what is the occultists purpose? Debuff, pulling guys to the front, hitting back row, and healing. His heals are more inconsistent but he can heal for a far larger amount than the vestal.
Chase Moore
best healer in the game
cucks bosses
has decent backline damage and good cc if front line
Aaron Walker
he's a utility, someone who can debuff a targets damage or dodge chance, stun them at the cost of some torchlight, heal people, drag important targets forward with pulls, whip the backrows with ceiling spaghetti or just straight up stab a fool with his knife
Justin Gutierrez
Debuff, mark, fuckhueg heal when it work, destroy eldrich enemies
Elijah Baker
Vestal is all about consistency, Occultis for healbombs, debuffs and fantastic damage against eldritch
Nathaniel Hill
How do I rip narrator's voice files from the game? I spent an entire day on trying to convert them into readable format, but failed.
Sebastian Scott
Being best husbando
Grayson Young
Vestal is a shitty healbot that can't do anything else well.
Occultist can debuff, mark, deal AoE damage to ranks 3 and 4, decent single target damage to ranks 1-3 and heal on top of that.
Luis Foster
Divine Comfort alone makes her better than the Occultist.
Daniel Lewis
what party do you run in champion tier ruins?
literally want to kill myself
Camden Evans
>Eldritch Killing Incesce >Go Cove/DD >Slap dicks
Anthony Reed
How can he be best husbando when Man at Arms exists?
Lincoln Gutierrez
You can't outheal the damage eneimes heal in champion. You only need Divine Comfort because your damage output sucks balls and you can't kill enemies before everyone is dying.
Have fun getting fucked by skivers and trying to outheal their AoE while I kill them turn 1.
Chase Reyes
>Best husbando >An arab
David Hernandez
Backline damage / Healer Healer Anyone swole and in control DAMAGEDAMAGEDAMAGE
In that order. Also enjoy this partially outdated guide with some useful pointers.
Jason Thompson
>heal in champion deal*
Jace Peterson
>You can't outheal the damage eneimes heal in champion Try using a Vestal with two +healing trinkets before making such claims.
Liam Flores
You literally can't.
As I said, have fun getting fucked by skivers.
>using a Vestal with two +healing trinkets Congrats, you just reduced her to a shitty healbot that still can't keep up with the damage enemies deal.
Mason Harris
*skewers your party*
Levi Diaz
just like most of the "guides" in the OP, this image is borderline worthless due to being outdated
Brayden White
That's all she needs to be. The occasional stun is handy but being able to heal the entire party for 7 every single turn is invaluable.
Christopher Reyes
Close but no cigar
Cooper Bell
>not healbombing and mark spamming
You aren't playing him right my guy. Also, he btfo's eldritch
Colton Barnes
>tfw vestal-chan gives the entire party 7HP per turn regen minimum >Rest of the party can focus on not getting 1-shot >be fucking invincible
>That's all she needs to be >all she needs to be is being bad Sounds about right.
>skiver survives long enough to act because healbot couldn't contribute to killing it ASAP >Cripple Them crits >3 out of 4 heroes reduced to death's door from 20+ HP >a-at least I can heal them for 10, Vestal stronk
Gavin Turner
I guess the other three heroes are just sitting there with their thumbs up their asses.
Ryder James
It wasn't updated last i used it and i disagree with some of the choices for equipment. But it can be handy to have when you don't want to look up the wiki.
Asher Lee
You know what I JUST noticed?
The cultists' crowns are the same as the stress effect on heroes.
Holy fucking shit. I have 100 hours in this game. Am I the stupidest person alive?
Hudson Gomez
Would you rather have 4 heroes doing something useful or 3? What are you oging to do when one of them misses, other than try to make up with a heal?
The bottom line is heals are fucking useless as long as the damage dealers still exist. The optimal play is to get rid of the damage source heal when the immediate danger is gone, not spam AoE 7 heal while getting hit by 6-14 with 7% crit chance and 3 blight.
Andrew Russell
>yfw this memeteam is even more viable now that occultist can heal from anywhere And high light gives you dodge as i am too much of a coward to play low light runs
Jason Perry
Vestal is being useful. I'm sorry you can't appreciate a different, and perfectly viable, playstyle.
Chase Rogers
Yes. The stress symbol is featured in lots of places. Keep looking.
Leo Murphy
>look for nude mods on Nexus >they're all awful >mspaint-tier fake nudes awful
David Flores
This symbol is literally everywhere. It's also your family's crest. Makes you think, doesn't it?
Blake Scott
I noticed it in the warrens and ruins and shit, but I only just saw it on the cultists.
Juan Russell
Stress inside. Open at your own risk.
Thomas Diaz
>Vestal is being useful More useful than running 3 heroes? I guess.
More useful that an Occultist that can greatly contribute in killing high priority targets ASAP and heal when it's time to heal? Nope.
>I'm sorry you can't appreciate a different, and perfectly viable, playstyle. Almost everything is viable, not everything is optimal. I'm not criticizing you for using something that is sub-optimal, I do plenty of sub-optmial things as well. I'm criticizing you for thinking healbots are optimal.
