Why do you think it's bait? It would be just like the theatres in Empire.

The laziest way to do it (and therefore the most likely) is to have a sort of creep on the map, representing the tunnels that spread out from any skaven cities, which spreads over time. As long as your army's within the creep, you can ignore terrain and probably get some sort of bonus or an easier time ambushing people or some shit.

It isn't that complex; it would literally just be a bunch of tunnels, not a whole other campaign map.

They are just going to have "tunnel walk" or whatever and it's going to be another reskinned underpass.

OH, also skaven slaves. Lots and lots of skaven slaves. Maybe a spell that spawns the fuckers or you just get 5 units of the fucking things for free at the start of each battle. I dunno, maybe even make it like a banner, where you attach a unit of slaves to a unit of soldiers, in any case, some token unit, which doesn't take up a slot and allows you to bring in a bunch of cannon fodder, which you can use to bog down cavalry and shit, while your jezzails shred everything. Including the slaves.

talking about the geomantic web, lords being locked behind certain things(like need influence to get some of th ehigh elf lord or needing to build/research something for the lizardmen to get slan), the raiding tombs thing where you can decide if you want to settle their or just take what you're found, the vortex in general. stuff like that

considering what they've done with the high elfs and the lizardmen I think it's gonna be something bigger than just a new stance. but I don't think they'll introduce an underground map as much as I want one.
