There a four save files and a no save mode. Just pick an empty file, complete an act, and it'll automatically save. The next time you play it'll continue from the last act that wasn't completed. If you're worried about the Spin Dash, you can actually turn it off in the settings.
I just remembered that Sonic appeared and provided foreshadowing exposition in a theatrical Disney movie

The first 20 minutes of the Sonic movie should adapt the final moments of Sonic 1 starting from Scrap Brain, then the rest of the film adapts Sonic 2. The whole movie is about the relationship between Sonic and Tails.
But nope, they're just going to take Sonic Boom, and fill it with product placement and toilet humor.

Fairly easy, the hardest part is convincing Katella and Breezie to dump Robotnik and R. Jr. respectively. AND get the peaceful resolution between Katella and Merna. However this is only because those are the only parts that require skill rather than dialogue trees.
However, to get the secret ending and 100% completion, you have to get the time-travel shoes from Caininestein. You normally do this in order to unlock the Penelope route. But you have make sure she hooks up with Masonic (get the chili dog from Roxy first before going back in time). THEN you have to go forward in time to get Von Schlemmer's duplicator, go back, duplicate Penelope and then take her back to the future. It's a complicated route but it's worth it.

It's slated for September I think, the next Volume (and probably last) in line to be released, but with all this Archie drama, I am not even sure we're going to get this.
