This hits a soft spot for me as I am a AAA developer myself (Not for Ubisoft or their affiliates). It's unbelievably disrespectful and just uncalled for.
The amount of absolute blind ignorance into how complex or simple a problem may be to solve is staggering. Of all the things developers can be at one time or another it's super rare to find one that's being lazy. Do they exist? Absolutely. But I guarantee that 99% of us care very deeply for the games we work on and want nothing more than for them to be as good as they can possibly be.
Developers can make bad decisions and developers can make mistakes, but please stop calling the Siege devs lazy every time their solution for a problem ends up being something that on the surface appears to be "simple". I especially know since i worked with them, i am the freelancer who made Geisha room.
