Why do Peugeots and Citroëns look so alike?
Do both companies have some sort of agreement? Are they copying each other?
Why do Peugeots and Citroëns look so alike?
both part of the secret French Auto Group (FAG), which has its HQ in France.
Looks like bait but i'll take it, they are both owned by Peugeot (PSA) those cars in the picture are the same apart from the logos the other passenger cars look different but share components like engines
Kek. Damnit that makes sense.
Not bait, I didn't know they were both owned by Peugeot. Thanks!
yes also renault share parts
>HQ in France
Bullshit.
Both cars borrow heavily from the Citreon AX; they both have the same chassis. When they were released, they were already 10 years out of date. The 106 looked prettier, of course.
Badge engineering.
Can Mitsubishi fall any lower at this point?
To be fair, french shit is based on outlander, not the other way around.
The Outlander came out first. PSA wanted an SUV and Mitsubishi manufactured them.
PSA use their own engines, Mitsubishi use the 2.0l TDI from VW.

So that's why French cars finally got better in terms of reliability.
They just sell re-skinned Japanese cars
They're basically the same except toyota put a stupid x across the front. The others aren't any worse.
It also went from this to those abominations. We truly like in a dark age today.
