silver border just means youve put a lot of time into the games, not necessarily that your skill is increasing. sure, a high level is sometimes indicative of high skill, but it doesnt mean youve actually paid attention to how you play, and made adjustments based on that.

try messing with your control settings a bit, fool around in training range.

If the sum total of Chu's work is 4-5 hard statements each, about a total of 24 heros (as well as a little bit more on the side here and there for background information) then my 8yr old daughter could probably do a better job than his useless ass

I am a Mercy main and not ashamed of it.

I try to pick Mercy first, but if there are other healers I can take tank (D.VA, Roadhog) or Defense (Torb). I prefer not to take offense since I suck at shooting.

I suck at shooting and just glad I can help other people with their eliminations.

It doesn't have anything to do with the fact that I am a sub bitch who gets his ding dong up when thinking about being a cumbucket to a tank with beefy healthbar

In earlier seasons you would actually lose more SR for a loss than a win. But now I'm actually climbing the ladder with fucking less than 40% winrate. I get ~40 SR a win and only lose like 17~18 per loss the fuck

Suspension of disbelief is when there are a few fundamental rules to a universe which 'just are'. Harry Potter has Magic. Iron Man has the cave scene as well as the fucking suit being able to fly. There is no workaround otherwise it wouldnt make sense to the plot as a whole or it would take an exorbitant amount of time to resolve as long as everything else is justified, then I see nothing wrong. But lets say Harry Potter shoots lasers from his eyes and kills Voldemort from across the planet with no explanation, you would feel slightly pissed.

Overwatch I can suspend my disbelief for a Gorilla scientist. Or a edgy ghost man. Or a jetpack with apparently no fuel pack. Or floating robots. They just are because otherwise nothing makes sense.
But when there are insults to my intelligence such as the Pharah dad situation, which could easily have been worked around on a plot basis with 1 or 2 sentences of official dialogue in a comic see the Helix director shit I came up with in 2 minutes then its the fault if bad writing. Nothing else.

Overwatch is addicting because of it plays like a goddamn mobile game. You can just pick it up, play for 5 minutes and boom match has ended up. It's quick and can be fun at times.

Your first 100 levels will be your most fond. Unless you're unlucky and run in to a bunch of smurf fucks.

Just watch the shorts and read the comics and you'll probably be confused why people are fighting but atleast you get to see some characters in motion.

As a general rule, a character's design is deeper than the character's lore and will tell you everything you need to know. There is potential, but the lead writer is pretty bad, as an angery user shitposting above us explains.

When i was in high plat (2900 SR) every second player was a girl (often support main or D.Va).
Now when i'm in middle Silver i see barely any girls.
The same when i watch some streamers, it's seems like there are shitloads of girls in Master and Grandmaster.

Why are girls always in higher ranks, why are they so good?

Definitely can't defend every map, but I will say why Dorado and Ilios are objectively the best designed maps.

These maps work for practically every character and have plenty of cover and accessible height for both teams. Hybrids are always advantageous to defense and the other KotH maps always have shortcomings to height.

That's ultimately why Pharah can fucking dominate in a lot of maps, and why other characters are useless on maps that aren't 2cp. They should've all been designed for every character, not just Tracer and Reinhardt.

Double tracer is hardly any worse than what we have now. It's the exact same thing with forced hero diversity IE half your team has to pick the second best heroes.
