PS4 pro worth it or should I save the money? Seems regular ps4 have some fps drops

Pro has 60 FPS replays, but the graphics are still not amazeballs in 1080p. Plus after noticing the first 2D trees in the semi straight after Bergwerk the Nordschleife will be ruined forever and you'll never stop seeing those damn GTR2 trees.

Nope, still on Pro, and I'm running in 1080p so there should be plenty of processing room. The game just isn't impressive graphically outside of the photo mode.
And even then, if you use Scapes, it's photorealistic because the background are literally pictures.

Thanks for the warning about that, I really don't care about 4k or HDR, since I'm using a 1080p monitor. The only advantage for me about the ps pro is the frame-rate, I guess it's pretty much the same.

Yeah, got a Pro as future proofing mostly. Don't know for how long the games will be "Pro enhanced" and not "Standard downgraded". Or if I get a fancy monitor.

The fact that we can even get what physically amounts to a wheeled sled to roll down a road inside a computer simulation with any degree of realism, much less do it over the Internet with 20+ people all bashing into each other is the kind of technological feat that would have made our ancestors' heads spin. simracers do not have top-end gaming rigs nor do they want them, a more graphically-accurate game is harder to run for absolutely zero real benefit. Physics fidelity is FAR more important than graphical fidelity. Live For Speed is a good example, that game looks like ass. It looked like ass when it came out and it still looks like ass now. But it's one of the most physically accurate racing simulations ever created and that's why people still fucking play it.
