I think they'll want to retell the canon story for sure. All of the current storylines probably have small bits of the canon plot in there, so it's just a matter of fleshing those out. Filia looking for her memories and contending with Carol, Cerebella going after Fortune, Lab 8 getting destroyed and Peacock recklessly pursuing the Skullgirl, those all seem like they'll stick. Probably one of the closest storylines to canon is Squigly's, since her arc would probably play out like that no matter what.
Filia's ending seems mostly happy, but something I realized that's made me wary of it, is that I think Carol's had her mind wiped. That's why she calls herself "Painwheel" and has that really generic happy attitude. She's probably been brainwashed by the Skullheart into a person that will make Filia happy for her wish, rather than actually regaining her own humanity. She might not have even been returned to her real parents.
Only time I wish Sg was 3d is when I wish for costumes

I thought it was funny when Persia first streamed SG, and she was only a couple days into the game, completely unphased by the combo length, and already escaping resets and making comebacks.

SGDQ starts this weekend. Any runs you plan to watch?
Couple weird things in the schedule this year. Super Metroid is happening on a Friday, and there's no Mario RPG run. Some poor soul's committing to a MMX6 run for some reason.
At least there's a CT run midweek, and a X2 race which should be good. No Shovel Knight, but there's some glitchy Shantae and some Freedom Planet.
I'll probably try to watch Hollow Knight to see how much they've already broken it.

GDQ is actually fairly relevant to this thread. Aside from just knowing LZ watches it (duh), you have two major pillars of Indivisible's design featured as staple runs which are always very good reference material.
Also newer games with similar inspirations to Indiv are popping up that could make for some interesting comparisons down the line, which is part of why I'm really interested in the Hollow Knight run.
And of course, runs for some of Indivisible's guest characters are there. This is actually Half-Genie Hero's first time getting featured at a GDQ, which is the game Mariel did a lot of work on before going back to LZ fulltime.
Small aside, MikeZ's also been known to submit pledge shoutouts during runs he likes. Last GDQ he did it for stuff like Cobra Triangle, but it was especially cool when he did it for fellow SGC guy Dolfinh during his Ecco run at SGDQ 2015.
