planning on getting m2/napoopan in the steam sale - should I get kingdoms for m2? I'm not a huge napoleonic nerd, but I wanted a gunpowder tw and heard it was better than empire - is there any dlc for it I should get? Oldest tw I've played is S2, how do these titles hold up?

Surprisingly so, the Warhammer setting really does seem to have freshened things up nicely.

it makes sense tho, she is normally quite harsh because of how easily she could actually be outplayed and her kingdom defeated, also any imperial general could suddenly turn outto be a chaos suppourter so it's justified

Kingdoms is pretty much required to enjoy M2, since the only way to enjoy it is through mods and those mods require kingdoms.

It really goes down to what you're interested in, there's a lot of variety.

Stainless steel for vanilla+, broken crescent for crusades, bellum crucis for the M2 EB, but poor translation I heard. Before warhammer TW came out the WH mod was pretty good, lots of content, but unstable as fuck even after many fixes. Thera was quite good if a little simple and easy, mainly because it was very stable.

Then there's stuff like napoleonic warfare or 30 years war, you name it.

I'm still not sure that elves are balanced
