3rd for high test bikes (sport cucks not included)
Blake Cox
how about cagers get their own board and we keep this one?
Jordan Stewart
what's your power level
Juan Howard
I strongly disagree. We're well nested here on Veeky Forums.
James Hill
Why does the 125 look better than the 1000cc model?
John Thomas
so many fags out on their harleys today
Ryder Robinson
because god tier
John Thomas
this is sad. you should feel bad.
Luke Rodriguez
I get that it's hipster, but I do like the way that bike looks.
Also, fuck you t. sportcuck
Carson Rivera

Brody Ross
Forest ride or coastal ride for my day off m8s?
Jaxon Nguyen
You should put knobbies on it
Julian Johnson
Mountain ride
Colton Young
im thinking about it for winter
Liam Bell
What do you ride? More street oriented, go coastal. If you can go off road, definitely forest.
Henry Jones
coastal
Kevin Martin
Fuckin do it.
Nolan Powell
I hate you all I have is straight desert ride or straight suburban ride
Matthew Reyes

Ian Ramirez
Which desert
Luis Richardson
...
Adrian Murphy

mojave
John Long
Post speedos. Can you recommend me a good one?
>shiny metal >analogue >reaches at least 180mph Most of the ones I see only go up to 160.
Angel Smith
You're only a couple to a few hours from some mountains. There's a good spot in mexico, but you prolly don't want that.
Robert Morales
can someone recommend me some rides in seattle? not sure where i can go since i moved in the city for school. would love to ride through a forest or along the water but have no idea where to go.
Kayden Nguyen
I have that exact speedo on a chinese 125 is this speedo some sort of universal speedo on cheap bikes? ive seen it on several models
Joseph Perez
Kinda far but I have to check it out some day. I've been to Mexico and worse central American countries as a gringo.
Hunter Perry
On ebay it's just called "Motorcycle Speedometer Tachometer Speedo Meter 12V For Honda Suzuki Cafe Racer"
It's probably some cheap generic speedo the Chinese used. I like it.
Here's my speedo, but I like analogue ones.
Gavin Jones
Used to live up in Oak Harbor, and Deception Pass is pretty. I was younger then and I was all off road then, so can't really recommend anything specific.
Only did it once when I was babby rider. Was still fun.
William Clark
Mine only goes to 170 I honestly prefer digital tho, even in cars.
Julian Rogers
if yamaha didn't exist, what would be the best maker?
Thomas Edwards
honda
Jayden Bell
what sort of octane should i run in my bike?
plain old 87?
additionally, what does it mean if there's smoke coming from my cylinder head, but not my tailpipe?
i'm trying to find an o-ring where this stuff might be coming from but it looks like the whole cylinder head on the side where the spark plug is is smoking.
bike is an '82 XL500R. the forums say that this is pretty common and doesn't burn at a rate that makes the bike undrivable. i just don't like seeing smoke.
Eli Gutierrez
>if kawasaki didn't exist, what would be the best maker? fixed it for you answer is yamaha
Nathan Hall
Personally I run highest I can in any bike. But that's just me. I've run regular in an 86 xr600 for a couple months when I was low on cash, and it was fine.
Luis Barnes
whatever the manual says
Jonathan Wright
digital speedo>analogue speedo analogue tach>digital tach
for usability anyways, aesthetic preference is whatever.
Luis Garcia
Okay, I'm about to pull the trigger on a gopro for helmet mount and webbums. Anyone got one and like it? Especially one of the recent 5s or 6s?
Benjamin Cox
overpriced
Hunter Powell
>break bike doing sick wheelies >take it to local Yamaha dealership >they literally fix everything for free >tell me "they were young once"
Wtf I love Yamaha now
Nathaniel Lee
...
Noah Diaz
I feel like I've had this thought a few times.
Jaxson Martinez
grab a panavision instead
Andrew Brooks
Its true pls buy from Yamaha
Josiah Miller
This Fucking $500, they're fucking crazy.
Daniel Garcia
Listen to this guy: I have one and kinda regret it, pic related. Bought it with the intention of having neato vids, weatherproof camera etc for any random trips. End up just pulling over and using my phone for most stuff. Look for advice on the Chinese knockoffs if it's just for webms and recording your commute or whatever
Andrew Robinson
I disagree. Analog speedos are easy af to read.
You don't need to look at numbers at all, just glance at where the needle is and you'll know your speed.
Dominic Hall
buy dbpower or something else cheap everything is good enough for shitposting and webbums
Ethan Young
300 or so used on craigslist in my area. Still too much?
Jaxon Butler
What 600cc should I get? Give me suggestions.
Current bike is a commuter, while its comfy, I think I'd be happy with a sports bike.
Any sports bike suggestions?
Angel Carter
Just do max speed runs.
Jack Barnes
Yamaha FZR
Blake Nguyen
Yes. If the 5 and 6 are that much, I'd look for a 3 then. $50-100
Jonathan Murphy
Buying a new bike sucks
Connor Roberts
New as in new, or as in new to you. Cause the former is yes, I don't see a reason to. The latter has it's pros, I enjoy looking for one. The hunt is fun.
Tyler Bell
just get a chink camera like an sj4000
Nathan King
At only an 8.6:1 CR you should be fine on 87, however I always run premium since bikes get good enough gas mileage the price doesn't bother me, and if you're somewhere with ethanol free premium you 100% should run it and never put ethanol in it.
Logan Cox
Fuck. Why do remind me of those places user. I was content sitting here pretending their wasn't ethanol in my fuel, seeing as I don't have an ethanol free option.
Matthew Rogers
If you have any thoughts on mounting it to the bike, you want something with anti-shake, like a git2
Jason Baker
>tfw I am almost exactly one tank of gas away from the border of a state with ethanol free premium so I can never store the bike with no ethanol Literally the worst feeling in the world, I hate my state and gay laws.
Caleb Flores
>mojave Angeles Forest road, Bouquet Canyon, San Francisquito... All within an hour. What's wrong?
Nolan Powell
yeah that's a good point but what's the purpose for mounting it on your bike instead of your helmet? just seems worse overall.
Mason Morris
I asked someone one time, and they said the only place I could possibly get some is the local international raceway. Still a ways away to get some, and the price is probably outrageous.
Jayden Bell
I have mine in dash-cam mode, powered off the accessory port. It's always on.
Also, when I had one on my helmet, I learned what a figity rubberneck I am. Vids made me seasick
Gavin Morris
some gas stations have ethanol free 110 octane leaded racing gas, but you have to find one, I think a lot of Sunocos do but I don't have any around here. and yes, it's $5-10 per gallon, you can also try and find a VP fuel dealer and buy it by the 5 gallon barrel if you've got something you really don't want to put ethanol in, most vintage bike collectors I know do this.
Jonathan Garcia
>Mount jerry can to bike, drive out, fill can, refuel bike from can when home >Bike now stored with ethanol free fuel
Cooper Morgan
Shit, I'd buy a barrel if I had a place to store it. Of course I could just carry in the back of my truck... $5 a gallon is fine with me on the bike. Maybe I'll do another search for ethanol free in my area.
Caleb Hughes
New to me, upgrading. It's just a pain to find exactly what you want. I also don't have room for a second bike so if I go for a private sale it's going to be a pain.
Juan Reyes
>mount jerry can to bike uhhh... that might be hard
Angel Taylor
So you're doing a trade in? And I like trying to find just the right one, I mean I also look at the shit I can't have anyways. I still go on craigslist and look at shit even though I'm not buying anything.
Kayden Johnson
>put can on pillion >bungee or tie it down >??? >profit
Jack Wright
fuck tell me about it, I have to buy some guys bike with foreign plates and reregister it with local. If he has the paperwork otherwise I would have to settle for and extra +3 grand. God knows how big of a hassle registering that thing will be.
Adrian Murphy
F4i
Hunter Richardson
>underseat exhaust catches bungie cord aflame >Has a jerry can on the pillion.
Matthew Evans
FZ6
Grayson Powell
Trying to. There are some bikes out there I wouldn't mind that I can afford but I'm trying to stay at a sane price. Dealer markup is not bad right now.
Camden Hernandez
they're all the same
Samuel Ramirez
>Glorious viking funeral at 153mph You say that like its a bad thing
James Bailey
Well don't wrap the fucker round the exhaust. You can do it user, I believe in you.
Gabriel Collins
What's this 153mph meme. Could someone fill me in
Chase Thompson
why is ethanol demonized so much? i've never had any problems with it
Chase Sanders
Because if your engine isn't made with it in mind is can actually do harm. Also possible decrease in mileage
Owen Foster
I recognize that dash, but why is it blue?
Juan Walker
literally doesn't matter, they're all notork uncomfortable jap scrap
Luis Brooks
>Ethanol - ethyl alcohol - is a potent solvent. This can be a good thing, keeping "varnish" and other deposits from accumulating on engine parts exposed to fuel. But, in marine engine systems - even those designed to run on E10 - those solvent qualities can prove problematic. In some boats and motor systems, material used to construct fuel tanks, fuel lines, gaskets and other components is susceptible to deteriorating - dissolving, sloughing, flaking - under ethanol's influence. That material clogs filters, fuel pumps and damage carburetor parts. Even some fuel system components designed to resist ethanol's corrosive properties can fall victim if the fuel pools or otherwise collects in bends, dips and kinks in lines and sits for long periods, a common occurrence because it is not unusual for boat motors to sit weeks or even months without being run.
