Okay, so turns out that TD actually does have some form of genki overflow on level up.

When you level up, you receive 1 Live Ticket for every point in your genki bar. Since using Live Tickets to play a song will cost just as many Live Tickets as it would have cost genki, you technically haven't "wasted" any stamina by leveling with a non-empty bar. This is also where some of you are getting a lot of tickets from even if you never do the jobs - the rapid-fire level ups in the beginning did that.

(You also receive 1 Live Ticket for every point in your genki bar when you use Million Jewels to refill to full.)

So Bamco tried to whip up their own clone called Million Live to hop on the gravy train. They made a bunch of shitty deviantart-tier idols and threw in the original Idolmaster girls to try to prop it up, but it never really took off. Even SideM tends to sell more than Million Live.
