Below 50, leves work. And just straight up farming.

After 50, collectables become more worth it than leves, free exp. (I got 60-70 on both using only collectables, efficiently.)

At all levels you should use the Gathering Manuals sold by your Grand Company over and over again, since thats more free exp.

How to powerlevel your DPS jobs:

Step 1. Plug in a controller
Step 2. Queue for Frontlines Shatter
Step 3. Go to the deserted corner of the map
Step 4. Wrap a rubberband around your controller analog sticks
Step 5. Go post on /xivg/ or watch Netflix for 15 minutes
Step 6. ???
Step 7. 1/4th of your EXP bar is now filled

This is how I got RDM and SAM to level 70 by casually playing for 2 weeks. Do it before SE nerfs PVP exp in a few days:

What classifies as good gear? Ironworks?

RDM's opener consists of a 300 potency GCD followed by a 420 pot oGCD followed by another 270 potency GCD followed by another 300 pot oGCD

The vendors are all over the place, but input your job/level into this and it'll pop out gear that can either be bought from vendors or crafted, and tell you where the vendors are.

Also depends. If you have 60 Ironworks you can cruise with it all the way to 70 without needing to upgrade at all. Just upgrade when you hit 70.

The SB DoH/L grind is 100x times easier than the HW 50-60 grind was.

Start with CUL and get that to 37. It should be relatively easy to do since it's the easiest job to gather mats for. Good luck, user.

Assuming you're done MSQ, it goes like this:

1-50: MSQ > PotD > Dungeons (quick queue) > FATEs > Frontlines
51-59: MSQ > PotD > Dungeons (quick queue) > FATEs > Frontlines
60-70: MSQ > Dungeons (quick-med queue) > Frontlines ~= FATEs ~= PotD.
