Hello, /xivg/! I managed to do Garuda EX! I was even lucky enough to get the Vortex Feather which only costs like 500 gil but whatever. I think I will buy the rest of the mats and try to find a Goldsmith in my FC and ask him to craft me a Honor of the Vortex rapier for glamour purposes. I have decided it looks almost as good as the Rapier of the Round, and the latter costs like 1.4 million. Honor of the Vortex costs like 750k on my market but I saw the other Vortex weapons are much cheaper, so the price must be inflated.
Sadly these roulettes keep making me level up and I'm so far behind in the MSQ, didn't even begin Heavensward yet. I feel like I will be 60 when I finally unlock it. The quest grind is being a bit boring and I'm taking too much time to get it done. I'm at the part where I have to do the Temple of Qarn
