Uncap one to 3* at a time. Most end grids don't go for 6+ basic magna weapons, and the first thing you want to do when reaching 101 is uncapping weapons to 4* so it's better to have some at 3 already.

I'm just not that impressed with FGO, having started it with the english release. People make fun of the occasionally wonky older art in granblue, but FGO is riddled with really poor and inconsistent art. And that's a rather big deal in what's supposed to be a waifu game.
