So while I struggle to dodge as many worthless time-wasting NPCs as possible on my first playthrough, is there any way to optimize it for a NG+ run? Like avoiding cool optional towns etc for the second route (which would be the Ilias one in my case)

When you meet up with Eden, Ilias gets the idea to head on over to the Hall of Creation to recreate Lucifina and Michaela to add some extra firepower on their side. She wouldn't have been able to do it on her own, but with Eden's power as a Seraph, she had the confidence to be able to carry out the ritual. It's just that, Lucifina and Michaela end up coming out as younger, weaker versions of themselves, as Eden was too weak from keeping up the barrier around Paradox World's Ilias for 30 years.

Luka wonders out loud if his mother was recreated, but Ilias tells him that all she did was recreate Lucifina's base form and that the new Lucifina-chan doesn't have any of the memories Luka's mother had. Lucifina ends up overhearing their conversation and decides to be Luka's mom. Luka is touched by the sentiment.

Lucifina isn't really crazy, just, uh, bloodthirsty. She says some pretty violent expressions to convey her excitement and enjoys seeing blood get spilled.
